I rarely write reviews, but my experience at Fontainebleau Las Vegas was so consistently poor that I feel obligated to warn others. Let me be clear upfront: the property itself is beautiful. The rooms are well designed, clean, and visually impressive. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. The service across the entire property is shockingly bad, especially given the price point. After spending thousands of dollars to stay here, I was treated with a level of indifference—and at times outright hostility—that I would expect from a budget motel, not a luxury resort. There is a complete lack of urgency everywhere: front desk, restaurants, cafés, casino floor, and even security. Long lines are common, yet staff frequently socialize behind the counter while guests wait. On more than one occasion, I approached an employee who was clearly not busy, only to be told I had to “wait to be called,” even though I had a simple, quick question about directions. Staff interactions consistently felt adversarial, almost like dealing with nightclub bouncers rather than hospitality professionals. The prevailing attitude seemed to be that guests were an inconvenience rather than the reason the business exists. Adding to the frustration, signage throughout the property is misleading or outright wrong. Multiple entrances to amenities are locked despite signs directing guests there, forcing unnecessary backtracking and confusion—with no staff proactively helping or acknowledging the issue. Even the casino, which might justify a visit on its own, was underwhelming and not worth the hassle. Fontainebleau clearly invested heavily in the physical property, but has failed to invest in training, accountability, or service culture. Until that changes, the experience does not justify the cost, and I would strongly recommend travelers look elsewhere.

This room was booked for us during a business trip. I would not have chosen this hotel and don't plan to visit it again. Checking in a $700 hold was placed on our credit card, this wasn't explained by the person checking us in after multiple questions he couldn't seem to tell us why the bill was different from the quoted price. The next day, it was explained to us why the first person couldn't put it into words was curious. The room itself was nice. We had a 5 day stay and housekeeping staff could really use a refresher as to how to clean a room. We were constantly running out of toilet paper and tissues and they never replaced the obviously used glasses with clean glasses, one day they took our bath mat and didn't replace that and I had to call customer service. They also seemed to have an issue keeping the area around and in the elevator clean. The food court and Vida restaurant, and The Tavern we visited were ok nothing special just high priced. Casino area was typical but at least it was reasonably clean. Walls were pretty thin, you could hear people in the next room. The location was ok, right across from Circus Circus there were options that were good for shopping, gambling and food close by. All staff we encountered were nice and pleasant. On my next trip I would not pick this hotel, nor would I recommend it I think they can do better and they should.

Stayed 3 nights in Las Vegas. This hotel was absolutely excellent in every way. The check in process was quick, the attendant was professional and knowledgeable. The room was clean, spotless, comfortable. Bed was amazing. Amenities were fantastic. I will be back soon!

My stay at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas was wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the elegant design and sophisticated ambiance was stunning. No wait at check-in. The service was exceptional. We spent sometime shopping at Cartier, where we selected some beautiful jewelry. We also enjoyed an unforgettable night with friends at Collins Cocktail Bar. Which was noted one of the best bars in America. If you’re seeking a luxury escape in Las Vegas, the Fontainebleau hits the spot.

I am going to tell you what I liked, did not like, and neutral about and you can decide if it's right for you: Liked: Every single employee that we came across was friendly, said "hello" and most were helpful and we had contact with many. Electric curtains and shades. Master low light and light off and on controls. Very comfortable double beds for my friend and I. Parking costs ($20 a day) part of the resort fee and you can come and go just with your room key and even make a final exit with it late on your last day. Ample self-parking. Great restaurants. Quiet with great view of the strip and Sphere and mountains from the 56th Floor. Bellman delivered our bags to Self-parking space so we did not need to move car. 24 Hour Cafe Fast elevators. Minimal casino walk through to get to room elevators. Great lobby bar with live music some times. There is separate refrigerator for your water and stuff separate from the one they charge to take things from. Away from the center of the Strip so it was much calmer, quieter and more relaxed than center strip hotels. It's far enough off so few peeps just come to wander around. In the hotel is the one and only Hall of Excellence everyone should visit. Did not like: In addition to expensive room rates--everything in this hotel is very expensive. For example: Breakfast for 2 was about $80. A can of Blue Diamond Almonds that at most is $4 in the the supermarket is $10 in their shop. Cup of coffee: $8.00. Bottle of water: $8 to $12. (You get the picture.) Like most of the strip hotels they suffer from housekeeping problems--one specific one had me pulling my hair out: On check in, because all the tubes look exactly the same, housekeeping gave us 2 tubes of body wash, 1 tube of conditioner and No Shampoo. So I had to wash my hair with body wash it was too late to call down. The next service day, they took away the used body wash and conditioner and just left us with one tube of body wash and no shampoo or conditioner. I needed shampoo immediately for a quick turn around to celebrate my birthday so I called for them to just bring up a tube of shampoo right away. --It took 3 calls! and 45 minutes for someone to bring up one tube of shampoo! We were late for my birthday dinner due to their incompetence and probably the reason I would not stay here again. Poor water pressure at the sink. Took a long time to fill a cup. It trickles out. (They may have a water pressure issue at higher levels in the hotel?) Poor temperature control in the shower--the water temperature kept changing and you needed to adjust often. Mediocre quality towels--I had better in my last stay at the Best Western $55 a night resort fee--except for parking, not sure what else it gives you? Neutral: Long walk to anything: front entrance, self-parking, or Uber/Lyft pickup/drop-off area. General store could be better stocked. More healthy food in the 24 hour cafe--it was mainly sugar. No indoor lap pool. Outdoor pool only open during summer months. Gym requires extra fee.
