Reviews for Fontainebleau Las Vegas

Not so clean

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

I am still staying at the hotel and it is not as clean as I excepted. There were coffee stains all over the drawers and soap was used. There was none toothbrush and toothpaste. Towels were stained. I called room service and they handled some of them.

Service was below expectations

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

While the property is new and the rooms are nice, the overall service at Fontainebleau was lacking and fell below expectations. Our suite wasn’t ready until more than 3 hours after the stated check-in time, and the only compensation offered was the resort fee, which didn’t feel proportionate to the inconvenience. When we requested a late checkout to offset the delay, we were told we’d have to pay for it. I had prearranged a welcome amenity upon arrival that never arrived, which was disappointing. Room service also woke us up at 8am one morning trying to deliver someone else’s order to our room. When I spoke with staff about the situation and asked again about a complimentary late checkout, the response was not friendly or accommodating. Overall, the lack of follow-through and customer service fell far short of what you’d expect at this level.

Beautiful hotel. Food/ Coffee places are weak!

The hotel is absolutely spectacular. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The pool areas are magnificent . The casino is large and spread out nicely. The staff is friendly and helpful. A few issues we had. During our one week stay, we attempted to get coffee at the two places that serve coffee in the hotel. Both had lines of 30 or 40 people which took about 45 minutes to an hour if we would have waited…we did not choose to wait. So we passed on having coffee during our week stay. The food court looks great, but the QR code to order food never worked. So there were long lines in front of each food restaurant. So we decided not to wait in those lines either. I think once the Fontainebleau understands how to service the guest with their current food and coffee situation, the hotel would be perfectly.

You need to stay here if you want luxury!

I absolutely loved this hotel! We arrived very early in the morning just expecting to leave our luggage and go about on our day but when we checked in we were asked if we wanted the room now and we were thrilled! How accommodating they were! I don’t know if any other hotel would have done this! We had a beautiful king room with a Mountain View. The room was huge and the bathroom was so beautiful with a big tub and the marble. Very classy!! The breakfast we ate at was very pricey and I don’t think we would have done it more than once but we had food & beverage coupons so that covered the cost for those meals. Food was very tasty. The casino had a great selection of games & slots to play. Not too crowded either. We will definitely be going back as this is our favorite Vegas hotel now and we have been to quite a few! Go and relax and enjoy!

Good rooms but poor customer service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Brand-new hotel near the exhibition center and on the edge of the Strip. The rooms are spacious and modern, and the bed was very comfortable. We didn’t like the long check-in process, and an express laundry service was not available. The price was reasonable. Overall, we would prefer the Wynn.
