Reviews for The Palazzo at The Venetian Resort

Get away with wife and the Sphere

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We wanted to experience the Sphere; little did we know that the Venetian resort was going to be such an experience as well. The place has everything you need. The all-suite rooms are clean and very comfortable. The entire building is a show case. The restaurants are so good, it is difficult to decide on which one to try. The entire stay was amazing. We said the resort alone has made us want to come back to Vegas soon as possible and not wait another 10 years.

BEAUTIFUL AND EXPENSIVE

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Beautiful place! The higher price should include “standard” amenities though~ WiFi, in room coffee, working phones, gym/spa use, etc. The staff is very kind and helpful. The shopping spectacular but expensive. The food as a whole is good. CUT by Wolfgang Puck is a must. The staff is the most attentive and helpful on the entire property! The steaks top shelf. Worth every penny! Buddy V’s not so much so. Room service breakfast is fun! Delivered in cute bag, great containers and large serving. It was very good also! The pool is nice but the whole time I was there no one came to offer food or drink. The gondola ride is fun but too short for the price. The connection to the Sphere is a great plus.

Good experience. Spacious comfortable room with great view of Sphere. Friendly staff and enjoyed the Rock House burgers and wings at their sports bar. Easy access to self parking was helpful too.

The greediest in Vegas. That’s saying a lot.

I’ve stayed and played at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas for years, and I used to genuinely enjoy it. Not anymore. What this property has turned into is a masterclass in how to squeeze loyal customers until they finally walk away. Let’s start with the obvious: the greed is out of control. The resort fees are now among the highest in Las Vegas—and for what? Services most guests don’t even use. It’s not about amenities, it’s about seeing how much more they can tack on because they know people will notice too late to do anything about it. Then you get hit with things like $18 for a bottle of water. Not at a nightclub. Not at a pool party. Just a basic bottle of water. It’s almost insulting. Everywhere you turn, it’s another grab for your wallet. And somehow, this is all supposed to be offset by their rewards program—which has completely fallen apart. They’ve raised tier thresholds, cut back benefits, and made earning anything of value feel like a grind with little return. Loyalty doesn’t mean anything here anymore. But the part that really says it all? After years of loyalty and thousands of dollars spent in their casino, I’m supposed to feel “valued” because I get free parking in the garage? Free parking. That’s the big perk. That’s what it’s come down to. It would be funny if it wasn’t so ridiculous. There’s no real recognition, no meaningful rewards, and no effort to make returning guests feel appreciated. Just higher fees, lower value, and a very clear message: they’ll take as much as you’re willing to give, and then ask for more. You can feel the shift the moment you walk in. It’s less about hospitality and more about extraction. And judging by how much quieter things felt compared to previous visits, people are catching on. Las Vegas has always been about spending money—but it used to feel like you were getting something in return. That balance is gone here. There are too many other options on the Strip to keep putting up with this. I won’t be back, and I’d strongly recommend others think twice before staying here. At this point, it’s not luxury. It’s just greedy.

Great location for catching show at the Sphere

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

I stayed 5-nights in a king suite with upgraded view of the Sphere. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Observing the changing display of the Sphere was fun. The only room dings are a lack of turndown service and no coffee-maker/Nespresso, items typical at the price point I paid . Also, the mini-fridge is set up such that if you touch any item in it, you are charged. So you can’t use it to keep water/drinks cold, etc. This hotel & adjoining Venetian hotel are sprawling & bustling. It took a couple of days to get the lay of the land. My friends & I caught the Eagles at the Sphere. We were able to walk through the hotel into the Sphere. Very convenient. The fitness center is nice & is located by the Canyon Ranch spa, both on the 3rd floor. A cafe, open from 7-2, is nearby & provides grab-n-go coffees, smoothies & food. Very convenient with friendly staff. I loved the Green smoothies. I got a fantastic deep tissue massage at the lovely spa. The spa is huge with various amenities (salt grotto, igloo, wave room, lavender room, etc). I would stay here again, particularly if catching a show at the Sphere.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. From the first encounter to the last they make you feel special, and like you are at a special hotel. The lobby is beautiful. The room was very spacious and well decorated. The casino is large and laid out in a fashion that allows you to move around easily. Overall we loved this hotel and look forward to returning!
