One of the reasons we chose this hotel was nice pool area. Pool is opon prom 10am to 5 pm (7 hours only) but this day was closed because of windy weather. In the meanwhile Staff was preparing for closed event at 6pm. That was True reason for closing pool for everyone who payed to stay at this hotel. WiFi connection is terrible. Room has long couch which is unsuable because it was design to look nice not be comfortable. Walking from parking to room takes 10-15 minutes depends on elevators. Shower gives random temperature of the water. One of the worst hotel I have been and I am a freuquent traveler. On photo a Line for a private pool party the Day pool was closed to guests.

Pool closure and other pool is badly managed

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

I am currently staying at the Sahara, 28th March the rooftop pool is currently closed and the main pool is full of towels being put down at 10am so you cannot use a pool or sunbath if you stay here. Staff are rude the front desk is really unhelpful, on check in they give a hard sell on a upgrade room and are rude when it’s declined. Lifts are ridiculous there are people queuing all day everyday as there are not enough for the amount of guests. The city tax is overly expensive as is the deposit. There is nothing to say the other pool is closed anywhere so unless you want to pay for a cabana just to use the outside area book elsewhere!

Northern Retreat

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

The SAHARA is located on the north end of the Las Vegas strip. Which in my opinion is a downside because there is not that much transportation. But the overall atmosphere is good. The rooms were very clean and had some very comfy beds. Low noise was a plus. The only main minuses were that the service was very bad and long. And the elevators barely worked.

Worst Vegas hotel visit I've ever experienced

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

5 day visit, 2 days with no housekeeping. I had to call for fresh towels to be brought to the room, but the dirty ones just piled up on the floor. When I complained, they did remove my resort fees for those day, but I requested it, they didn't volunteer it. The pool area for hotel guests was dirty and unstaffed. Very little sun reached the pool, so the water was too cold to stay in- if you were able to even get in.

Terrible hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Stayed there 2 years ago it was amazing.this march it was terrible room was only cleaned 4 days out off 7 only 2 large towels in shower room had to phone down to get towels as it was in the 90 very hot two showers each per day reception staff were all bad English speakers as we are Scottish it was hard to communicate .and we were charged resort fee of 62 dollars per day even the web site was no resort fee from march . Then when we asked for a late check out was told to come back the day before we left was told to comeback morning we left then was told no late check out as they were full went on to there web site and could have booked many rooms . Last time we will book the Sahara
