This is a review for my stay in tower 3 room 24-820 for the month of April. I really like to love this property because there are good reasons to do so but there are some aspects of my stay that I just couldn’t ignore. Im writing this review not to rant but in the hopes that someone in the property would take this as teaching moment and lessons learned to improve their current operations. If you are a Marriott elite member esp Platinum and above where you are used to being treated a certain way and it is extremely important to you, I would think twice staying here. The most is a 1 pm checkout which you have to beg for. No complementary water in the room unless you ask for it and go downstairs and making changes to your reservation once you checked is such an awful experience depending on who you deal with. Also you will be charged a prepayment upon booking which is not clearly indicated in the Marriot website when you book. This amount will be deducted from your final bill. The bill is so confusing. Lets start with the good! I did a lot of research on where to stay in Vegas and this property ticks a lot of my checkboxes. What really sold me this property is my excellent customer servicer experience with Ms Shanel D who I spoke extensively on the phone and went out of her way to answer all my questions and address all my concerns. She was really on point, the kind of service you get from 5 star properties maybe. I really thought that was going to be consistent in this property but sadly it wasn’t. Props to Steve as well for approving my upgrade to a 1 bdrm room. I did inform her way in advance that there is a possibility that I will be shortening my stay a day earlier and she said No problem. She added all the notes in my account. Several folks from tower 3 told me as long as I inform them before 11 am on the day I want to early depart, it should be fine. Another manager also was able to move one of my reservations a day earlier I was not able to get their name All these happened before checkin. Good Start! The property is non smoking (rare to find in Vegas). These are condotels so the rooms have generous space even if they are showing age especially in style. Most importantly, the room they assigned to me was quiet corner room. The cleaning staff does a fairly decent job in servicing the room shout out to Maricel. The locations is not bad. I was able to walk to the Venetian in 30ish mins. The gym was small nothing to rave about, the pool area in tower 3 was smallish so I had to go to MGM all the time. It was crowded and if you come after 10 am, chances are all the beds are saved. It doesn’t help to have inconsiderate idiots who just leave towel there for hours with no intention of coming back. They need a better system to manage this. Now the bad! The room wreaked of bleach smell when I walked in. I had to open the balcony door and exhaust fan to air it out. The pool in tower 1 is only open on weekends not a good move esp when your pools are overcrowded. You get a mix bag on the front desk folks in terms of service but none of them are memorable or worth mentioning. There are also times when you call from your room to request items that you will be waiting a long time on hold. The worse part of my experience that really took stars out of this review is my experience with the evening staff from tower 2. The evening before my departure I had to go to tower 2 since tower 3 front desk is not open 24h. I spoke with Angel and she told me that it couldn’t be done. I was advised to call Marriott rez since they are the only ones who can do it (false). Ive been a Marriott member for a decade and once the reservation is in progress, central rez can no longer do anything, only local front desk people can access it. I called Marriott and that’s exactly what they told me. I asked to be connected to a manager that evening and ended up speaking with Corina who told me she can only do a trace but cannot amend the rez. Basically giving me the impression that what was told to me by their colleagues is incorrect and I will end up paying for it based on the wrong information given to me. On the day of my checkout I came across Charles who happily modified the reservation. All the aggravation and runaround given to me by the evening shift left a sour taste in my mouth that erased all the good aspects of this property. And I even spotted incorrect calculations in the Bill that Angel helped me correct and sort out. This property could have gotten 4 stars but this front desk experience alone gives me an overall negative experience.

Nice, large clean rooms and quiet atmosphere. Enjoyed the quiet areas and easy to navigate to the strip. Valet parking included is a plus with quick access to our car. Looking forward to returning and having a relaxing vacation at the Signature.

The room provided ample space for my family and I. The kitchenette, with oven included, allowed to us to make decent-sized dinners during our stay. I enjoyed that the signature was not directly on the strip and that the casino was still within walking distance. Tower 2 is only a less than five minute walk from the MGM pools and the MGM Grand casino. All in all, superb experience. Thank you, Signature at MGM Grand. The valet and concierge service were also among the best I have ever received. I would gladly stay at this resort again.

The hotel is clean and private. The pool area is great for an exclusive experience away from the activity of the main casino area. Rooms are well maintained. However, if you're looking for professional, friendly staff go elsewhere. The staff seemed bothered by when asked a question. The valet was extremely rude and hostile when asked a question and walked away from me without offering a solution. Very disappointed.

Second time staying at Signature Suites, last time being 13 years ago. Starting with the “needed improvements” was obviously the same decor and furnishings to include the problematic tv from my last stay…. 13 years ago. There were some loud neighbors next door having a party that could be heard from outside the door but not in the room which was impressive! The host checking me in had zero personality but got the job done assigning my balcony suite over the strip. Floors 27 and up have balconies which is nice. Valet parking is complimentary with your room with a private guard gated entrance where you can drive right up to check in! There are 3 towers with access to MGM with a short indoor walk. I booked the room using the airlines site which made it easy. The checkout using the QR Code on the key card had some technical issues so using the hosts would be recommended.

We just had the pleasure of staying in a lovely suite at the MGM Grand. It was a joy to be able to enjoy the action on the strip and come back to the hotel for peace and comfort - we loved the jacuzzi tub and plush bed. I will most likely only stay here when I return to Vegas!
