Beautiful suite...rude staff...

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Beautiful corner executive corner suite room...that was pretty much the highlight of our stay. The rest went down the hill quickly...We had encountered quite a few troubles staying at the hotel and it made the experience not so pleasant: 1. waited in a long line for check-in just to find out our assigned executive suite was on the 6th floor when we had previously requested a much higher floor. I had to ask again to finally get a room on the 15th floor. Not a nice experience. I didn't have to work this hard at the Hilton Resorts World nor Venetian. 2. living room TV broken and shower drain was clogged. I requested front desk to fix them and was told that $50 credit will be given to compensate for the inconvenience. Checked again on the checkout day and was told by the front desk staff that once we hit the Checkout button from the page on TV, the credit will be given. None of that happened and still did not receive the credit despite emailing the front desk after the check-out day. Liars!!! 3. my son was rudely told by front desk and a staff on the 43rd floor to leave or they will call security. He happened to exit on another floor as he was exploring the hotel and the staff was rude to him. They could've talked to him nicely but they threatened him. Jerks working at the hotel. Who wants to pay $450/night to be rudely treated by morons that have no idea what customer service really means. 4. house keeping did not fold or put away the living room sofa bed's sheets/pillows and just threw them on the couch.

Nobody listens or cares

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

It’s as though nobody cares. I reserved a room through Marriott Bonvoy with Elite status. I opted for 1) no housekeeping and 2) $20 food and beverage credit instead of points. I got housekeeping I didn’t want and no food and beverage credit for a meal that was on their list of participating venues. Because they don’t send the folio until an hour after you check out, I had to create a dispute using an online form while at the airport. The folio dispute form online indicated errors, but not what kind of errors in what fields. It would not allow me to submit the dispute online. I had to screenshot it and send it to Vdara Guest Services via e-mail. No response yet. The TV didn’t work and I requested a service call after 10 AM while I planned to be out. I confirmed this and gave permission to enter and fix the TV while I was gone, after 10, when maintenance called my room. Not more than 5 minutes later, a cheerful maintenance tech arrived at my door. It’s as though not a single person in this organization listened to my requests or honored them. This used to be my go to place to stay. Ugh.

LOVE VDARA

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Love this hotel, love the location, rooms, atmosphere and staff. Fabulous bar downstairs, Starbucks, Market to grab snacks. Easy walk to Aria, Park, NYNY and even easier walk to Bellagio and Cosmo. Easy access to Uber and Taxis. Close to the freeway for easy access to places off the strip as well.

Our favorite place to stay in Vegas!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Always enjoy our stays at Vdara. No casino so you don’t have that mass of people to deal with. Location is great…most things on strip are easy walking distance. Beautiful facility. Get a room with Bellagio fountains view!

Great Stay @ Vdara

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Staff was receptive, hotel was clean, spacious, quiet, and very easily accessible to other hotels. The hotel does not have gambling in the lobby, which made accessibility great. There is a 24 hour snack facility available, and coffee at your fingertip. The room was spacious and welcoming as well. I will definitely rebook .
