Vdara Hotel & Spa

Quiet environment - no casino, but for those who gamble Aria is nearby and there is direct connection with Bellagio via direct tunnel. Excellent view from rooms, great interior, rooms have great design and condition. UPDATE: after some time no longer all that great. Corridors in bad shape, broken bases all over the corridors. Water emergency: no water, but once fixed there is hot water in the cold water line. Broken bath faucet. Leaking sink faucet. Broken curtain. Broken faucets in lobby restrooms. Understaffed: consistently very long wait when calling the desk, and housekeeping took forever to come to take care of the room, ended up coming after 5 PM.

Just checked in and our first impression has not been positive. Our room is extremely dusty. The iPad doesn’t work. There were no plastic garbage bags in any of the garbage cans and there were no robes included with the room.

Wife and I stayed at the Vdara for a week and wha a great hotel it is. My wife is pregnant so we purposefully chose a hotel with no casino and one which was non-smoking. Firstly, location is fantastic, bang in the middle of the strip and the walkways to the Aria, Cosmopolitan and Bellagio made getting around, without the need to go out in the heat, very easy. Our room had a view of the Bellagio fountains and we never got sick of watching the fountain show or looking down the strip (picture attached). The staff were great and were always very friendly. We also liked that you could use the facilities of the Aria. We used the gym and the pool as both were bigger than at the Vdara. All in all a great hotel and would recommend to family and friends.
