Reviews for The Venetian

Great location and rooms, crappy resort amenities

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

I’ll start with the positive: Great location, beautiful clean rooms, quiet and luxurious. Cons: please state CLEARLY on your website that “resort fees” ONLY includes the gym. I would NOT have booked had I known you have to book a service to access sauna. I mostly pick hotels for sauna access and I was frustrated to learn that I’m subsidizing the gym, which I didn’t use because I was solely looking forward to the sauna. $63 resort fee to only have access to the gym sounds like a scam. Add the “resort fee” as as add-on for folks who will want to use your gym. We live in a free market capitalism economy and not a socialist one. Do better.

Vegas Is Not What It Use To Be

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

I’ve been going to Vegas since 1978 and it has been going down hill since. The place is filthy and WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! The hotel was average at best, and we stayed in a suite. If you want drinks it will cost you an arm and a leg. Went to the 4th floor pool and had a total of four vodka tonics, total was $188. This is our last trip to Vegas! Not worth it. Cheaper to go to Paris, France.

Pros and Cons

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

I usually stay at the Bellagio but decided to try out the Venetian because i have always loved visiting there and it was close to the Sphere to see the Eagles. I booked the newly upgraded Luxury loft (23rd floor) and it was gorgeous! My only complaint was there were no robes which should be a given. Towels should also be a little more luxurious (hence 4 stars instead of 5) I also booked 2 chairs for the pool (9a - 5p) but the sun doesnt hit the Venetian pool until early - mid afternoon. It was freezing that morning, especially since it was in the shade. We luckily snagged 2 charis at the Palazzo pool (not reserved) where the sun was on full display. We eventually made it over to our reserved chairs but it was about 3 pm and we didnt have much time to enjoy them. Ate at the Canyon Ranch for a healthy breakfast and it was excellent. Yard Bird was also very good. Iced Mochas at Chocolate Dandelion were a superb midday pick me up, and the young man working there on 10/31/25 was adorable and reason alone to come back! An unfortunate disappointment was Samba Sushi. Asked for a Rainbow roll and was charged for a california roll plus a tuna roll ($38) which would have been ok had it been good, it was just ok. All in all, a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel towels needed an upgrade

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

I stayed at the Venetian hotel this Halloween weekend and the remodeled suites are absolutely gorgeous-very modern spacious However, the price point one of my nights was over $1000 and I was disappointed in my towels. They we’re over bleached crunchy, and Honestly, way too small reminded me of an oversized bath mat. For a resort that just got remodeled I expect. soft plushy, high-quality towels, and some consideration for larger guests I’m not a larger guest. I just thought the towels were small.

We have stayed in other Vegas top hotels but we would come back without a second thought. I wish I was there right now!
