Although the grounds and communal areas look great the rooms look their age (I'd say at least a decade old). It's not a bad hotel but it is one that has no soul. Although the check in staff was lovely they actually have no power to help you in anyway as they need to get sign off from an elusive manager who is not on the ground for the smallest thing. Since there was bo other rooms available and ours was thouroughly stained, we received a suite upgrade. Sadly, while our room was dirty and unacceptable, moving rooms took a lot of insisting. Housekeeping is ok but regularly leaves dust or items behind. Overall not a bad experience but not a good one either.

The W at the Mandalay was a little bit of a walk from the registration desk, but the room was so nice, roomy and clean. I love the tub, it was so relaxing. The next time I go, I am staying at the W again.

We enjoyed our stay at W Las Vegas! Our suite was spacious and comfortable. It was also within walking range of our conference at Mandalay Bay. We've never had a bad experience at MGM resorts, and W Las Vegas was no exception. I'm sure we will return.

Hotel was smokefree and quiet, which is hard to find in Las Vegas. The room/suite was very spacious which allowed for separation of work and sleep. A small little nook next to the Mandalay Bay and very close to all the shows and conference area.

This was our first time at the W Las Vegas. We stayed in a W Premier Two Queen Suite. The suite was huge and had a pretty and modern décor. We loved having a separate living room and bedroom. It also included a wet bar plus two bathrooms. One was a full bath off the master and the other was a half bath with sink and toilet close to the front door. The couch was large, clean, modern, and firm. The desk was spacious and comfortable for working at a laptop. We loved the double sinks, ample shelves, large soaking tub, and spacious shower. The magnifying mirror for applying makeup was useful. In the master, there were two large wardrobes and plenty of drawers and shelves for your clothes and belongings. Below the TV in the master there was a nice bench with a cushion where you could set your luggage or have a place to sit and get ready. The location was fantastic. It was super convenient for walking to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center and stopping by Starbucks along the way at the bottom of the Mandalay Bay Shoppes. The Starbucks was only a two-minute walk from the W elevators and they accepted mobile orders so we sometimes found ourselves ordering breakfast and lunch from it. We also felt that the W was less crowded than Mandalay Bay, which made it more relaxing and easy to go back and forth to the room. We didn't have any major complaints; just a few inconveniences. They didn't have the standard plastic bag for dirty clothes; just a nice cloth bag that had to be purchased for $35. They needed more coat hooks and mirrors in the living room and more towel hooks in the bathroom. It was a challenge to find places to hang things around the suite so we ended up draping multiple coats on chairs and towels on various bathroom fixtures. Also, I missed the large full-length mirror that most hotels have near the entrance. There was a fairly big mirror on the door to the master toilet, but it would have been nice to have a mirror in the living room somewhere. Most hotels have mirrors in the bedroom or living room where you can sit down to apply makeup so I missed that. Both lights on the wall in the master were burned out so maintenance came up and fixed them within the hour. Later, we realized living room TV wasn’t getting any signal so maintenance came and fixed it within an hour. We especially appreciated the TV fix as the maintenance person said he was the only one in the tower that night but still arrived and got the TV working and he even had a positive attitude. We were able to use our Fire TV and found it easy to plug in via connectors above the desk. (At first it didn't work, but the maintenance guy reset it for us and mentioned he'd put in a request to have it fixed as this was apparently a known issue.) On our last day, I worked with the front desk to get billing squared away and also confirm our late 3pm checkout. They gave us new key cards, but we couldn't get them to work. I returned and immediately was greeted by one of the VIP guest representatives (or possibly a manager) and she could not have been nicer. They encouraged me to sit down while they got new keys for us and gave suggestions for troubleshooting if we had any issues. Overall, it was a very comfortable and nice stay. We would stay here again.
