Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino

We visited the Westgate for the sole purpose of attending the Barry Manilow Christmas Show. We met Usher Shelley H a fellow Australian who picked my accent. Shelley very kindly offered to have our digital tickets printed ny the live Evelyn to keep as a souvenir. It was lovely to talk to a fellow country woman.

This is the first time that i've ever had the chance to see him. He put on such a great show! He still sounds just as good as he does on his albums! I'm so glad I got to see him!

The Barry Manilow show at the Westgate Hotel was a life changing experience. Barry Manilow is the best performer I have ever seen. I have loved his shows for 45 years. If that wasn’t already enough, the ushers at the venue are amazing. Shelley H and Evelyn are top class ushers. Their smiles are contagious. They are joyful and so informative and it is clear they love their jobs. I am a better person for meeting them. I can’t wait to come back!

We are currently staying at the Westgate Las Vegas Hotel & Casino while exhibiting at Cowboy Christmas, and overall it has been a very positive experience. The hotel rooms are large, comfortable, and spacious, which is a huge plus after long days at the booth. The room service food is FANTASTIC, and the delivery staff are always prompt, courteous, and friendly. For the first few days, we walked to the back of the casino to catch an Uber. However, after long days working, wearing heels, and carrying items with us, we decided to take taxis from the front of the hotel instead. Unfortunately, we were heckled by taxi drivers who didn’t want to take us to the Bronze Lot of the convention center claiming it was “walkable,” which was frustrating and quite rude. This is where Jimmy, the morning front doorman, truly stood out. Jimmy overheard what was happening, he immediately stepped in, and handled the situation professionally. He made it clear to the taxi drivers that this behavior was unacceptable and ensured it would not continue. Since then, every single morning for the past five days, Jimmy has gone above and beyond by speaking to the cab driver first, and making sure we are driven to our destination before we even get into the taxi. Jimmy’s consistency, care, and willingness to take care of the guests needs is far beyond what is expected of his role. He truly cares about the guest experience and is an absolute asset to the Westgate Hotel. Our morning commute to the convention center is now stress-free, and we are grateful for his kindness and professionalism. Great service and energy from hostess Alondra & Aida. Greets and interacts with owners in a friendly and professional way. Would recommend to relax and enjoy the complimentary amenities to owners.
