I will never return

Positives: blackout shades, well-equipped gym, decent view (better at night with lights - smoggy during the day), Blues Bender kept on schedule, provided me with blankets Negatives: dirty sock left in the room when I checked in, waited in line for 1 hr just to check in, waited 45 minutes in another line after that to get my Blues Bender wrist band (a day before it started), it was impossible to get around anywhere without going through a casino loaded with cigarette smoke, no place to fill a water bottle, no microwave - I made 3 calls to the front desk to request one (at $25/day) and was never able to get through to the front desk and certainly wasn't going to wait in another hour long line to do it in person, the temperature was freezing - many of us had blankets wrapped around us in addition to sweatshirts or ski sweaters and long pants (I ended up catching a cold after being there 4 days) - it was 105 degrees outside so that was not a good alternative, no desk or chair in room and i gave up looking for the business center after being given wrong directions 3 times, Blues Bender bands were made to play outside by the pool in 105 degree heat - what were they thinking??, the hotel was crawling with aggressive timeshare salesmen.

We enjoyed the Westgate Club. Our greeter Aida was wonderful. She was very helpful and attentive while we enjoyed our time at the Westgate Club.

great views in every room

We stayed here for four nights as part of the 2026 Big Blues Bender. There's a lot of history in this place, folks, and it ain't just Elvis -- look it up. Our double-queen bed room was reasonably comfortable (shame about the small bathroom, though), and the view of the city and mountains were spectacular -- as they are from every room, by original design. Being off the Strip on Paradise Avenue, the resort has you more or less as a captive audience. The in-house breakfast/lunch joint, Sid's, is barely passable, but Restaurant Row offers a half-dozen excellent dinner options in a variety of cuisines. The HUGE drawback is that, aside from a coffee shop, nothing stays open past 10 pm most nights. A fitting commentary, perhaps, on Vegas' decline as an "24-hour city," but nonetheless a problem when you emerge from a late-night concert in one of the three excellent performance venues.

Good experience

We were at the Westgate for the Blues Bender 4- day festival. The hotel room was good. The views were of the Sphere, Wynn, Pool and Airport. All restaurants were very good. Service was good everywhere. We added a night and they linked it up so we did not have to check out or change rooms. Check in for the event was time consuming. They could have had twice as many people help with check in. But once we got to the front they were excellent.

Bartender extraordinary

We went to the blues bender 9/10-9/14. Our favorite venue was the paradise lounge. Our bartender Will Albin was absolutely amazing. He has a great personality. Also fabulous was Gene Rockne. Professional, engaging and friendly. Thank you! 😊
