Angleterre & Residence Hotel

Overall one of our better hotels in a 2 week trip thru Switzerland. Great location on the lake. East to access, and nice facilities.

We enjoyed the Stay in Hotel Angleterre. The Hotel is well located close to the lake and the harbor. The hotel infrastructure including the Pool is fine.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Angleterre with my husband, adult daughter and 81 year old mother. We all really liked the hotel. It is steps away from the lake and a nice area with shops and restaurants in Ouchy but feels incredibly quiet - like an oasis in the middle of the city. The rooms were spacious and comfortable; the common areas were lovely; the breakfast was delicious and expansive and the staff very helpful. We all agreed we would stay here again in a heartbeat. I liked the charming small hotel atmosphere and was not at all tempted by the bigger, grander Beau-Rivage next door - although we did enjoy the restaurant there. We also liked having a drink at the Chateau d'Ouchy nearby. The metro was also very close by and the transit card included in the stay.

Excellent service, beautiful gardens, great location, very confortable room with lots of lovely touches, would highly recommend.

a very nice hotel with comfortable rooms, well equipped, nice reception. Could do with some sitting/reading area to improve as well as a better gym. Overall a very nice stay
