Opened on 19 June 1915, the Lausanne Palace slowly became the pride of the Swiss city of Lausanne. Fully integrated into the urban fabric, it evolves in step with its host city. Between modernity and tradition, the Lausanne Palace & Spa has received renovations, still underway, in order to always offer you more comfort, sophistication and services at the leading edge of modernity. Many celebrities have contributed to its guest book. Royalty, stars of cinema and the world of music, and politicians coming from the four corners of the world, are all part of the landscape of the Lausanne Palace & Spa.

Good service, nice restaurant “brasserie du grand chène” , sub par “matcha pichu” Nice spa, good bedding quality, very cold bedroom, temperature selecting not operating radiators cold, good temperature in corridor, uncomfortable in bedroom. Parking too expensive. Though very well kept, overall presentation a bit outdated. ‘

The room was spacious, clean and well maintained, though the décor felt a little too traditional and the atmosphere rather subdued and dark. Very good service.

Everything was excellent ! From the welcome, to the spa, the specious rooms.. and the hotel is a 5 min walk away from the heart of lausane (Flon)! Definitely to come back for. Thank you

We visited the legendary Lausanne Palace, known as one of the key locations where delegations from several nations stayed during the signing of the Treaty of Lausanne (July 1923). I came with my family to experience the atmosphere of this historic event — but sadly, it was disappointing. The staff appeared completely unaware of the hotel’s unique heritage and role in world history. I asked several questions, hoping to learn more, but no one could provide clear information — I ended up explaining the history myself. It’s unfortunate that such an iconic property is managed with so little awareness of its past. There is a small museum corner in the lobby, but the main Treaty-related display is poorly placed and barely noticeable. When I showed interest in the hotel’s history, the guest relations manager Lea reacted defensively and was surprisingly impolite, which made us feel uncomfortable. However, Alejandro at reception was outstanding — friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. If management presented the hotel’s history more visibly and promoted it properly through tours and social media, it could become a true heritage attraction. We came a long way for this visit — but left with a bittersweet impression.
