Royal Savoy is a high-quality, elegant hotel that radiates warmth and sophistication through its interior design. The hallways leading to the rooms are lined with displayed wristwatches from various Swiss brands, reminding you at every step that you’re in the heart of Switzerland. The breakfast is excellent, offering options for vegetarians, protein lovers (meat and dairy), and those who prefer a fruit-based meal. One of the highlights of my stay was the spa center. In addition to the saunas and steam room, there is a swimming pool entirely lined with stainless steel instead of traditional tiles, which creates a unique and luxurious feel. The pool is connected to an outdoor section, and the water is warm throughout, so I was able to enjoy swimming both indoors and outdoors — in March! For me, the spa is truly the highlight of this hotel. The location is also excellent — close to the meteorological observatory, and if you enjoy walking, it’s just a short stroll to both the nearby lake and the city center of Lausanne. Warm recommendation for this hotel!
