The St. Regis Mauritius was previously a Marriott property. Overall, the resort — which is impeccably maintained and beautifully landscaped — lives up to the expectations of a luxury hotel at first glance. The staff are attentive, friendly, and plentiful. We stayed in a Heritage Beach Suite with direct beach access. The room was clean and well equipped, but showing signs of age. The highlight was certainly the first-class butler service – truly outstanding. The breakfast buffet is good, but falls short of the typical St. Regis standard, lacking an international variety. It was also noticeable that the hot buffet dishes, both in the morning and evening, were often overcooked and rather uninspired. As for the guests: a mix of mostly German, Russian, and many families with children – you either like it or you don’t. The management clearly strives to live up to the St. Regis brand promise “Live Exquisite”, which they manage quite well during the day – but not in the evening. Although the check-in instructions specifically request closed shoes and long trousers for dinner, the management tolerates flip-flops, beach shorts, and sandals. It seems they don’t want to offend the nouveau-riche clientele. Unfortunately, this gave us the feeling of being in a 3-star all-inclusive resort in Alanya rather than at a luxury hotel charging over €1,200 per night. For us, that’s simply a no-go.

An absolute flawless experience from start to finish! The room was opulent, the service was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend this 5-star gem. The spa is a haven of peace, serene & tranquil. This is our 04th visit in Mauritius, I must say the beach is exceptional at Le Morne!! The kite surfing club is next door, very convenient for us. The game room was game changer with 2 teens, they spent most of their time having fun. A big big thanks to Winley & Airis. The cuisines were delectable! Specially Indya & Atsuko, food heaven. Lucinda, Nikki, Ryan, Ashwina, Mai Tai very happy to have met you guys. Top notch service! We did appreciate a lot Tej from the butler service, he went above & beyond to make us feel welcome & comfortable. Last but certainly not least, Our suite was blissfully comfortable, a relaxing retreat. The bed was heavenly, very well organized by the housekeeping. Such a delight to get into a super clean & refresh room after a day on the beach. Our heartfelt thanks to Sana, her daily presence made a huge difference. She rolled out the red carpet! Thank you so so much Sana. (My kids miss her). 😇 Hemraj, Trinita were so nicee. They made sure the room is super comfy for us. We miss Mauritius so much, specially the people we met recently. We will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful day at the St. Regis Mauritius! From the moment we arrived, everyone was so warm and welcoming - the hospitality truly stood out. We've stayed at other resorts in Mauritius before, but this one is definitely one of our favourites. special thanks to Garry, Nashreen they were excellent and also Kevin, Ryan, Tashish, Minisha, and all the amazing staff on the beach, restaurants and housekeeping team.

We’ve been to Mauritius many times, but from the moment we arrived at The St. Regis Le Morne, we knew this would be one of our favourite hotels. The welcome was so warm, the team were incredibly attentive, and the whole place just has a wonderful feel to it. The beach is absolutely stunning, the hotel is beautifully kept, and the facilities are fantastic. The food was another highlight—every meal was delicious. What really made the difference though was the service. Nourshreen and Garry ( Butler service) went above and beyond and made our days extra special, along with the rest of the amazing team. Special thanks also to Kevin, Ryan, Tashish, Manisha. Thank you so much for such a memorable stay—we can’t wait to come back again next year!
