Food poisoning and unprofessional matter dei
Multiple people in our tour got food poisoning from fish at the restaurant. The matter die was rude and embarrassing. We had a large group and only 2 options for dinner. The wait staff did not bring enough food after we ordered. I was told it would 4 minutes to make my dinner with zero apology. Then I began eating my fish which tasted terrible. I looked at a friends fish and realized mine was raw. The 2/3 inside was a much darker color than the cooked outside. Friends fish had a co sister cooked color. I quietly let a server k is my fish was not cooked through. The matter del yelled at me across the table over people that this is the color of the fish. When asked why it was different then the other persons fish he proceeded to embarrassingly yell over the table. 10 mi Utes later another dish of fish arrived cooked. However another tour fried also was sick the entire night from her fish. Food poising keeping a person up all. Ifjt in the bathroom on vacation is awful, but the employees behavior was absolutely unforgivable.

Highly recommended
The friendly, professional reception staff offers quick assistance and a warm welcome. The hotel has gorgeous natural setting with a stunning view around. The interiors are immaculate and stylish, with comfortable beds, fresh linens, and pleasant scents. Breakfast features a wide variety of fresh, delicious options including hot and cold dishes. Excellent Wi-Fi and a short walk to downtown. Highly recommended, A+++

Fantastic hotel 5 stars wish we stayed longer
We were travelling from Salzburg along the Grossglockner Alpine Road and needed somewhere to stay the night and decided on Lienz. I found this hotel from previous reviews and booked the Superior Suite Isel. What a great decision, the hotel is outstanding and so was the service. Open check-in we were upgraded to a Royal Suite (The Grand Suite). What a beautiful room, more like an apartment, with 2 balconies overlooking the Isel River. Breakfast was included in the price and was plentiful. It was a 5min walk into the Altstadt. I only wish we coukd of stayed longer in this lovely hotel and location. I would highly recommend staying here for the quality of hotel, amenities and service.
