ME Lisbon

So much to love about this Hotel, it definitely gets my thumbs up and I would certainly stay here again and the few little negatives are soooo outweighed by the positives. Let’s get the little niggles over - After a while the music in the lobby is somewhat overpowering and the throbbing bass goes through your bones to your core but to be fair, I am old and not cool! The location is great and really well placed for the super efficient transport system but as it is on a main highway, it was noisy and you cannot sleep with open windows which is not something that I particularly like. The bathroom, which is pretty good was definitely designed by a man, the hairdryer lead is way too short to dry the hair easily, bring your own hairdryer and the lighting is not great, added to that, it’s not the most private of bathrooms so if you are going with a new lover, you may want to consider a different room level. As said, there are way more positives - everyone is super friendly, kind, charming attentive and helpful. I have rarely been in a European hotel where the service is at this level - it’s not forced or obsequious and everyone is genuinely lovely. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everyone was delightful. A shout out to the Aura team, Margot in particular who went well above and beyond the call of duty. Breakfast was pretty good and thankfully not a buffet. The coffee was not to my liking as it was very acidic ( to be fair, it was horrid) and tea was not much better but the breakfast team were friendly and made the day start on a very positive note. The Concierge team are an example to concierges everywhere and really helpful, responsive from the first email and made all our reservations well ahead of schedule as well as keeping abreast of changes and confirmations - I have stayed in way more expensive hotels with far worse concierge services so they really deserve a massive shout out, especially Diogo who was so patient and wonderful. I feel it’s only fair to mention housekeeping too as the room is very comfortable, really well equipped, super clean and we loved the beautiful books. We were greatly amused as our lovely chambermaid rearranged the bathroom on a daily basis so I was never quite sure where all my lotions and lotions would be placed. This became a daily game and the source of much entertainment. The nightly chocolate was also charming . I have stayed in far worse hotels for way more money and in my opinion you get a great room, great service and very easy central location. Book it now and enjoy all this fabulous city has to offer

Fantastic stay. The ME has a great location, the rooms are extremely comfortable and quiet, plus the staff are amongst the best I've ever encountered. ME branded bookmarks left for us, ME cleaning cloths left on my glasses case and an ME cable tidy left for my wife. Concierge were extremely helpful and efficient. An early flight prevented us trying breakfast. This will be my hotel of choice when visiting Lisbon

What can I say about our stay here except everything was exceptional. From the moment we arrived in the taxi to the second we left we were totally looked after. The service was second to none, down to the small things like leaving a bookmark in the room for my travels and a tie for my charge cable!! The room was large and well equipped, the roof top bar was lovely and the hotel was quiet. Would we stay here again, without hesitation, yes!

Possibly the best hotel experience we have had so far. Over the top friendly service. Fismuler restaurant chef is a genius and servers are amazing. Room was quiet, large, very comfortable. Amazing shower! The housekeeping even organized our phone chargers by wrapping the cords with ME Lisbon cord holders! We will be looking for ME hotels wherever we travel as our first choice.

Excellent stay at the ME Lisbon hotel. The hotel is very modern and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was amazing and worth paying the extra. Amazing touches like the choice of pillows! The staff are also exceptional, so friendly and always ready to help. On our last day we came back from the town in the midday heat and the person on the front desk rushed to us with complimentary water cartons. The hotel is amazing but the staff is also want makes the stay exceptional. We had such a good experience I will always look at staying at other ME hotels where I get the chance.
