The magnificent city of Lisbon, Portugal has been home to the Phoenicians, the Romans and the Moors through history. The influence of these ancient cultures can be found in the breathtaking architecture and art found everywhere the city. Flower lined streets, colorful ceramic tiles, elaborate wrought iron lattices, and narrow alleys make this city one of the most beautiful in Europe. Perched on a hillside with views of the surrounding city, find the Olissippo Lapa Palace Hotel; once home to Portuguese aristocracy, the Lapaâ€(TM)s grandeur and exquisite detailing now provides an exclusive home to visitors from around the world.

Great hotel and very nice staff and service and beautiful swimming pool for entire family to enjoy. Only major complain is that their Conceirge recommended a sea food restaurant for us called Numes Real Marisqueria which turned out to be total scam and tourist abuse location We only realised this afterwards when we read all the scam and awful reviews on Trip Advisor to stay away from it! Not sure if Conceirge receives tips back from this restaurant but they should not recommend such scam places to their customers Really bad advice when we trusted the Conceirge! https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g189158-d1016407-Reviews-Nunes_Real_Marisqueira-Lisbon_Lisbon_District_Central_Portugal.html

A traditional old school hotel which is a real delight. The service is great, the atmosphere is relaxed and one of the only hotels with an outdoor pool yet so centrally located. Always top of the list for a trip to Lisbon!

We have stayed in a lot of nice hotels and this one is right up there with the best. The staff is amazing and so friendly and helpful. The building is gorgeous both inside and the outside landscaping. We were very lucky to get upgraded to very comfortable and elegant suite with a lovely view of the garden. The bed was extremely comfortable so we slept very well. The location is good for getting around Lisbon. We walked to many places and used UBER when going farther. We dined at 2 very good nearby restaurants recommended by the desk staff and also at the hotel bar. We had cocktails each afternoon on the bar patio and I wish we knew the name of our server as he was extremely personable and remembered our names and what we ordered. And we really enjoyed the beautiful outdoor pool each afternoon after walking many miles to explore Lisbon. Breakfast in the mornings was excellent too with a choice of sitting inside or outside. We had such a lovely stay in our palace and we highly recommend it.

Very nice staff, incredibly friendly and polite, and very good location, but two problems: 1) Rooms have terrible isolation and they have a lot of noise from other rooms, from employees cleaning and fixing things, etc., so not easy to rest, and 2) Rooms are a bit old for the price point and status of the hotel

This hotel is a beautiful oasis in Lisbon. The pool area is tranquil with many seats. The breakfasts had many delicious options. The restaurant staff are so attentive. The hotel even surprised us with a birthday cake and sparking for my husband's birthday! in my opinion, the staff outshine it all. Friendly, accommodating, helpful and kind. Special thanks to wonderful Caterina at the front desk ...we will miss you all!!💕
