Our stay at Pestana was truly wonderful. Even though on arrival ,we had glanced at the pictures of visitors on wall of fame , it was only that after experiencing ,through our stay ,that we can appreciate how good the hotel is and why so many celebrities and statemen have stayed with you. The vision of the purchase of the property , the renovation ,the addition of residential wings and leisure /pools complex ,can only be admired . I have been involved with good work for many years , and what i see there at Pestana, works really well . The tour of the historic Palace meant a lot ,the building has such beauty and workmanship. The service ,the standard and the friendly professionalism of the staff on our 4 day stay will not be forgotten . If you are a breakfast person , you will find it exceptional .

Stunning palace hotel with super friendly staff. Special shout out to the mixologist at the bar-Joao Xavier who made the most amazing cocktails. Excellent breakfast presentation and club sandwich!

We would just like to say how much we enjoyed our stay at the Pestana Place Hotel. The hotel & setting is wonderful. The saff are very helpful & friendly, The breakfast each morning was excellent and the finishing touches of the “upgrade” All made our stay for very memorable. Especially Maria @ front desk, her kindness was very much appreciated. We will definitely recommend you & your hotel, & hopefully come back again.
