Pestana Palace Lisboa

We truly enjoyed our stay. The staff are amazing, responsive and we felt appreciated in all venues Ana really stood out as an impeccable incisional who made our meal a great experience. It’s amazing how a building that is in such built up area, can seem so serene.

The service was pure excellence! The food was full of flavour and an adventure for my tastebuds. They were accommodating for my daughter and my elderly parents. Highly recommend!

Beautiful building and gardens however inconsistent service A very beautiful and unique hotel, however the service was inconsistent. For example at breakfast you are shown to your table but you have to actively get attention of wait staff to get coffee/tea, juice or water. The wiaters seem to favour certain guests so most mornings of our 5 night stay we were waiting some time to get our coffees. Maintenace was also inconsistent, the first day our room was tidied and cleaned but the “do not disturb/service room” sign was taken that day so the room wasn’t serviced for a few days. Then the days we wanted to just relax in the room or on the balcony, house keeping knocked 5 times. Quite inconsistent. There was also no plug in bath, a titled shelf in bathroom and a robe hook that fell off door a few times. Our door also stopped locking and took 2 attempts to fix. The food at the bar and the lake house was average but very expensive. Overall we enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the location

Really beautiful property. Common areas and grounds are truly palatial and gorgeous outdoor pool. Room was fine but hotel layout is a bit inscrutable and we lost our way a few times. Location is not center -of-city but easy access by taxi or uber.

A bit of a mixed experience. The grounds are lovely, as was the pool area, which was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel as wanting a city break and some relaxation. The room was comfortable, comfortable beds, pillows, aircon, good shower. We slept well and the room cleaning was very thorough. But there were stains on the carpet. The location was good with easy and quick access to the centre of Lisbon and the airport. The breakfast buffet was good - lots of fruit and well stocked. The service was mixed - we had to wait for a table every morning, some staff were lovely and helpful but others not so much. We were offered coffee every morning but had to actively ask for everything else. The eggs royale were not good. The prices of drinks are on the high side -€7 for a soft drink plus service charge of 10%. Service in the bar was non existent - I sat reading and waited 30 mins but was not approached. I would stay again but the hotel could go form good to great if more attention were paid to guests.
