Sofitel Lisbon Liberdade

We had a wonderful stay - highlighted by the “Andre Experience”. He looked out for us all the way - from showing us how to navigate the public transport system to recommending and arranging airport transfer.

I have stayed here before. Very few quality luxury full service properties in Lisbon with the Sofitels prime location. Right on the beautiful tree lined Av. da Liberdade, the Sofitel Is close to attractions, shopping and great restaurants. Rooms are nice sized, bed is comfortable and service is outstanding. Hotel has good sound proofing; room was quiet. The buffet breakfast was excellent. A couple of notes and negative points. I hate the shower/tub. Very slippery even with the rubber floor mat. No grab rails either. Rooms could use a bit of refresh. Overall a nice stay for business.

Good location to stay in Lisbon as its flat. Walking distance to many places. Our room was on the small side but its ok.

Located on Avenida Da Liberdade the hotel is well located for many attractions and cafes and restaurants with a Metro Station within a few metres of the front door. We stayed for three nights as part of an Ama Waterways pre-cruise. The main lobby is light, bright and welcoming, check-in was quick and all of the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room on the 3rd floor was a decent size, double bed (soft mattress), table and chair but limited hanging and storage space. TV and refrigerator and a nice bathroom with a small walk-in shower but no grab rail. Good quality toiletries, large wall mirror, shaving mirror and a nice size washbasin. The room was very clean with good lighting but outside pedestrian noise intruded in the early hours including bin collections on one night. Breakfast was taken in a room specifically assigned to our group and was plentiful, diverse and well presented. Staff were extremely helpful and well organised. On the few occasions we dined in town we enjoyed Selllva on Rua Mouzinho Da Silveira, Grand Cafe Lisboa on Restauradores Square and Cafe Nicola on Praca Dom Pedro IV. We enjoyed our stay at the Sofitel Lisbon Liberdade and would certainly recommend.

Had a wonderful experience with my family, the location, rooms and staff were excellent and extremely helpful. It started with Andre' who greeted us when we arrived, throughout our stay his was on point, always making sure we had everything we needed. The front dest, forgot his name was excellent as well, even the bartender was 100% service. This team has been well trained. The only constructive feedback would be the gym and breakfast was a little light for me😊
