We had a truly fantastic weekend at Sage Lodge. Our full day at Yellowstone was breathtaking—I’ve never seen such stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. My kids were thoroughly entertained the entire time; between exploring the grounds, fishing in the lake, and diving into the hotel’s board game collection, there wasn't a bored moment. The staff was incredibly friendly and always available to help, and both on-site restaurants offered delicious food in a beautifully designed setting. It was the perfect, relaxing escape.

I hate to post something like this but after talking with the management at Sage Lodge, I had to share with the public so it is known. We had purchased a night for an exorbitant fee ($700), but had to cancel to due to sickness. We were given a credit for that amount. We were never told that the credit expired in year. (They said they sent countless emails -but we never received them). We tried to redeem this credit on a Sunday in the April, during the off season. I was told they would not honor the credit since it has been over a year, and that they would not provide a refund. Classy. Now we are out $700. When I had called for the reservation there were 10 rooms available. Had they honored our credit, then we would have spent more money in restaurant and spa facilities. They lost that money as well as any future stays... and any future recommendations. How can you tout yourself as offering excellent customer service when you knowingly took our $700 when it could be easily fixed. What a shame and disappointment. All of you should be warned.

Outstanding staff, outstanding service and breathtaking facility!! Wife and I arrived just yesterday and were warmly welcomed with open arms. Whether you want to kick back and just relax or have if you are inclined to be a little more “active” Sage Lodge does not disappoint. Do not skip out on the “experiences!” Did a fly staggering lesson with Tanner this morning - truly wonderful experience. Very knowledgeable and a great teacher for a first-timer. No doubt that this young man loves what he does and wants to share it with you. Cannot give enough praise. In the afternoon, did the archery course with Nick. Again, super great experience - he was a great teacher. It was like having a nice walk with a new friend who wanted you to share in his love for the area and the experience. The food and drinks have been outstanding, both at the Grill and at the Fireside Grill. Excellent service at all meals with a great selection. As far as the location and surroundings…mere words or even photographs cannot do it justice. Majestic? Awe-inspiring? Simply put, you have to see it to believe that this place is even possible. Would give this place six (6) or seven (7) stars if a I could.

Sage Lodge is uniquely beautiful and one-of-a-kind experience for couples like us, or families. Located in gorgeous Paradise Valley, Montana, the lodge is a comfortable and warm, inviting atmosphere, featuring natural materials and textures. Everything from the entrance to your room creates a seamless connection with the outdoors. It's close proximately to Yellowstone National Park is a big draw, but the property itself offers adventures, including wildlife such as elk, eagles and more. There is hiking opportunities, fishing, biking, axe throwing, games and so much more. JT and everyone at the front desk were wonderful with our pup, Hanna. It was so nice to leave for the day and know our 18-year Westie would be cared for by the team. Gabriel's Yellowstone tour was awesome. He was friendly and shared lots of interesting information about Yellowstone and the critters who call it home. We were amazed at his ability to find wildlife, including the wolves in Yellowstone. All the staff at the Fireside Grill were amazing! Friendly, thoughtful and fantastic service. They made our 25th anniversary special and one we will never forget. The entire team at Sage were friendly, thoughtful and amazing. The room was lovely and views of Emigrant and surrounding countryside were gorgeous. The trails around the property were great. We explored every inch, including the trail by Yellowstone River. We spotted an elk herd and lots of other animals during our daily adventures on the property. It is truly a special place to spend our anniversary. The winter rate is still a splurge for us, but the entire experience made it well worth the cost.
