Reviews for InterContinental Ljubljana, an IHG Hotel

Great Stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

A fabulous 4-night stay in the Intercontinental. All staff were outstanding (special mention for Rebeka on the front desk who was excellent.) The hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms were of a great size and very modern and it’s only a 12-15 minute walk to ‘Triple Bridge’ where you enter old town. Pool/sauna area small but very good. Highly recommended.

High-standard hotel in the middle of it all -- Ljubljana.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Excellent hotel experience. Very professional staff and hotel service. The rooms are fitted to a high standard and the bathrooms are spa-like. House-keeping was provided daily when requested. The hotel is within walking distance to many things you will want to see in Ljubljana. When not in business meetings, we walked to the Central Market, to museums, shops, and restaurants. The hotel has a great conference meeting space, spa, and dining. No complaints. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Not one of the best in the brand

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We had a nice corner room with a good sized bathroom with a huge bathtub. Access to the Club lounge offered somewhere pleasant to sit but there was not a huge number of canapés available. Housekeeping was adequate but not spectacular. Turndown only happened once in our three night stay. Shower cap was never replaced but we did receive fresh towels as necessary. The pool area and jacuzzi were good. Breakfast service was excellent as was the meal we had on the 20th floor one evening. Probably my biggest criticism is the entrance and reception area. The entrance was what seemed to be through a side door into a very small and poorly manned reception area. When there were staff available, they were pleasant and professional. The other criticism is I asked reception to get me a taxi to the airport and a limo was supplied at an expensive cost.
