InterContinental Ljubljana, an IHG Hotel

Intercontinental Ljubljana is a 25-minute drive from the airport, LJU, or a 2.5h drive from Venice airport, VCE. The hotel is in the city centre and a 10-minute walk to the old town and the sights and shopping. There is a small lobby on the ground floor and on the top floors are all the amenities with the gym, pool and spa on the 18th floor, the club lounge on the 19th floor and the restaurant and bar on the top floor with panoramic views of the city. The rooms are nice and big with plenty of space and great views even on the lower levels. The suites are great with a lot of space for both socialising and working. Bear in mind that the hotel only offers valet parking, however there is a good multistorey carpark next to the hotel. The hotel is an excellent choice for exploring town!

We have stayed at this hotel before with a very large group for work, as we were so impressed we wanted to return. Unfortunately it wasn’t the same as when we went in the past. We were given a room on the 17th floor which had fantastic views! However we had the fitness room just above us so when guests were fitnessing and throwing their weights on the floor you could hear a large bang! We had been upgraded but decided we would rather stay on a lower floor to avoid the banging. Then next day they moved is to the 16th floor which was below what we had but the banging was just as bad, so we were given a room on the 7th floor next to my sons. That was great and we were happy. The staff was amazing and wanted to do everything they could to make it as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Saying that the beds were rock hard, even after getting a topper. Breakfast was delicious too, on the top floor with beautiful views too. There is a fresh cooking station so if you wanted an omelette or anything else you could order it here. Thanks for making our stay as good and as comfortable as possible.

The hotel is located in the centre of Ljubljana. The rooms are spacious and well designed and very clean. The bathroom is large and clean. The breakfast has a variety of selections, the service at the breakfast is excellent, and the manager of the restaurant Nikola is an excellent gentleman, and truly he looks

A safe choice for an hotel with all services and high level. Easy access from the highway, next to the train station, walking distance to the city centre. A + for the roof restaurant and breakfast area with a nice view on the city and its very professional team!

A fabulous 4-night stay in the Intercontinental. All staff were outstanding (special mention for Rebeka on the front desk who was excellent.) The hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms were of a great size and very modern and it’s only a 12-15 minute walk to ‘Triple Bridge’ where you enter old town. Pool/sauna area small but very good. Highly recommended.
