InterContinental Ljubljana, an IHG Hotel

Great start here in a Club Room. The lounge was nice and big and not very crowded when we went in there. Canapes were very good as a lite bite before dinner. Drink selection was a bit limited. Great room with big bathroom and very comfortable room. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff were great.

The best part of this hotel was the top notch customer service, I can't rave enough about Marco at B-Resturant and Maja at the Reception counter. They made my husband birthday dinner/stay "one to remember" my husband's words. We visited the restaurant on April 25th, I mentioned to Marco it was my husband's birthday, he did not disappoint, he gave us recommendations and pairing options, the wine and dinner was 10/10 hats off to the chef for the DELICIOUS steak! We were so pleased with the service we made reservations to stay at the hotel at the completion of our road trip through Slovenia and Venice. We returned on May 1st, called to make reservations with none available we decided to venture up to the restaurant in hopes of someone canceling, saw Marco, was received with the warmest welcome, he confirmed what we were afraid of, he told us to go have drinks at the bar while he "attempted" to see if he could squeeze us in, Marco came through!!! We got a beautiful table for 2 overlooking Ljubljana's beautiful skyline, unfortunately he wasn't our waiter BUT we were fortunate to have the nicest gentleman who's name I can't remember, he had a very fun mustache and was the creator of that delightful coconut drink, again service 10/10. As an African American woman with a Caucasian husband, our trip was VERY interesting lol, the staff were AMAZING i felt acknowledged,Thank you all for a wonderful experience!

A fantastic hotel. We felt welcome from start to finish. Rooms are fantastic and the roof top restaurant is incredible. The views over Ljubljana in particular the castle are superb. Highly recommend!

Superb hotel with friendly knowledgeable staff. Perfect for trip to Ljubljana

We stayed here for 5 nights in April 2026 and from start to finish it was truly a 5* experience. The room on the 17th floor was spacious with 2 large and very comfortable beds. The views of the city from our room were great. The bathroom was also very spacious with one of the best showers I’ve experienced and the amenities were very good. There was a rain shower as well as a regular shower. There was an extensive choice of good food at the breakfast buffet and the wait staff were very professional and attentive. Especially pleasing was the extremely friendly and professional attention we received from Nina at reception. I would certainly stay here again.
