Finca Serena Mallorca

The hotel is stunning and in the middle of a vineyard surrounded by stunning countryside. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable and we had a terrace with chairs and a table which was great in the evening. The staff at the hotel were super helpful and special thanks to Alberto who always had a smile as well as Ciara who did a wonderful wine tasting. There were other members of staff who were also great but I cannot remember their names. The food was amazing with breakfast, lunch and dinner all fresh and tasty. The smoothies are divine and the paella night was lovely. Everyone whizzes around the hotel in golf buggies and there are some lovely trails to walk but go early or late as it gets very hot. The spa and gym are very nice and if you want a quiet place to sit with hardly anyone about then that is a place to be. The only issue was that for dinner if you want to eat in the restaurant you have to have the set menu for €70 and there is no option just to have one or two courses. You can have room service but we wanted to have a meal with just one or two courses some nights and that was not possible. The pool area is gorgeous but the drinks service down there is not ideal. We would have liked the water available from say 9am and for there to be someone on hand to deal with drinks as it was very hot when we were there.

Picturesque, quaint spot located in Mallorca farmland/surrounded by olive groves and vineyard. Very tranquil. Lovely rooms. Beautiful pool. Most impressive thing is the attentive and friendly service. The reception staff answer your requests immediately, very flexible

We stayed for our honeymoon and loved it! The pool is so nice, the room was cool and clean and the food was incredible. Everyone who worked there was friendly and graceful. ¡Muchas gracias a todos!

After several emails welcoming us to Finca Serena, we confirmed that we would be arriving at about 1.00 pm. We actually arrived at just before 2.00pm and was told our room was not ready, but they would WhatsApp us before 3, when it would be ready. We had a light lunch and at 3.15, no what’s app so we returned to reception, and our room was still not ready. Finally we were in, 3.30. We had chosen a vineyard room. Sitting outside looking at the vineyard the fan didn’t work. A very efficient young man corrected the problem. The surrounding foliage had not been trimmed so the view over the valley was totally obscured. The food that evening in the Jacaranda restaurant and service was superb. As was the breakfast the next morning. We left at around 11.00 for a day out. Returning at 4.00pm our room had not been made up. Ringing reception we were told that you were attending the “wine tasting “ at 6, someone would attend to it then. I said that was not acceptable, no response. We showered with the same towels left on the bathroom floor from the morning and went to the pre booked wine tasting. The lady giving the tasting was very informative but the wines were very poor quality. Mortitx, was ok but the other three were extremely poor quality. The Finca Serena red must have been bottled just before it was served! Very disappointing. This is the third wine tasting we have attended this year in Mallorca and by far the worst wines. We attended the Thursday evening bbq, mmm, not the best by five star hotel standards. Some of the lights around the dining area were not working. The staff try extremely hard and are superb especially the guys with the buggies and restaurant staff but wow, if you want to achieve a five star hotel you have a long way to go! On check out, I did complain to the duty manager and was granted a small discount for the poor experience.

Our stay at Finca Serena was simply exceptional from beginning to end. The property itself is stunning, surrounded by beautiful nature and offering a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and unwind. Every detail of the finca reflects quality, elegance, and genuine care. What truly made our stay special was the outstanding service. Every member of the team was welcoming, attentive, and professional, always making us feel valued as guests. The hospitality was warm and authentic without ever feeling intrusive. The rooms, facilities, food, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. Finca Serena is the perfect combination of luxury, tranquility, and comfort. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend Finca Serena to anyone looking for a truly special place to stay in Mallorca. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable.
