The Oberoi Beach Resort, Lombok

Thank you to everyone at Oberoi Lombok for an amazing week! This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in - and we cannot fault it. The location and setting are idyllic with beautifully maintained grounds, a beautifully situated main pool at the heart of the resort as well as stunning sea views. We had an ocean view villa with its own pool which was so spacious - and the pool comfortably big enough to swim in, which made all the difference. The quality of the food was excellent - such varied menus (Indonesian / Indian / International) and all served by very friendly, attentive staff. We found it so hard to choose as it was all so delicious, We looked forward to the complimentary afternoon tea everyday - lovely refreshing iced tea and delightful things to eat. A great idea to fill the gap between a bountiful breakfast and dinner. We had the half board package which included a snorkelling trip to the Gili Islands and a waterfall hike - both were excellent and so interesting. We also really enjoyed the taxi rides to and from the airport - using the coastal and mountain routes with so much to see on the way. We loved the spa treatments - 4 in all including the complimentary massage included in the package. All the therapists were so nice and very well qualified. Finally, we must mention the wonderful staff who all, without exception, went the extra mile and who made our stay so memorable. Outstanding!

Wonderful, excellent, fantastic....none of these words are enough to describe the Oberoi Lombok. From the planning to the actual holiday, the whole trip was smooth and seamless. We loved our experience at the Oberoi Lombok! We also had an amazing cooking class with the Head Chef Mr. I Made Suwendra in which he taught us how to make three incredible Indonesian dishes from scratch plus dessert! We hope to return someday soon, and we will never forget the entire staff at the hotel. Thank you again to Made and all the staff at the Oberoi Lombok.

Celebrating a birthday and our wedding anniversary, we couldn't have chosen a better place for the occasion. The extremely high standard of service along with attention to detail was just so comforting and the beautiful room, the incredible location and the ambience of the hotel was just divine.

Location: amazing, we were in paradise. Atmosphere: perfect, a place where you can forget the rest of the world and just indulge yourself. Rooms: Beautiful, so nice you didn’t want to leave but you were surrounded by so much other beauty to enjoy you had to or you would have missed out.
