About the Hotel

Tucked away on a tree-lined court between Harrods and Sloane Square, Eleven Cadogan Gardens was the first of London's private luxury town house hotels. This refined boutique property, which occupies four stately Victorian houses, maintains a very English and understated style in traditional wood-paneled guestrooms hung with oil paintings and furnished with antiques. Here you'll cross into a unique atmosphere, where a butler discreetly meets you at the door, and instead of registering, you're invited to sign a leather-bound visitors' book.

Amazing experience!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

From the moment we arrived, the service at this hotel was exceptional. The staff was super friendly and always willing to help with a smile. The room was spotless, quirky and comfortable. We especially appreciated the little touches—like the complimentary welcome drink and anniversary turndown service. The breakfast in Hans had a wide variety of delicious options, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. Sloane street and Kings road had lots of shops to enjoy. We even visited Chelsea Physics garden, strongly recommend it. The hotel was great and a top-notch experience—we’ll definitely be coming back!

Terrible

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Terrible experience. Room was not ready at 3pm. Waited almost an hour before I could get in. Staff lacked empathy and appeared disinterested when I explained I needed to get into the room as I was going out. Not even an offer to go and have a drink while I waited. He simply ignored me until I went away. Shocking customer service. Supposedly the best suite in the hotel, but not even a pot of milk in the totally empty fridge to make a tea let alone the ‘complimentary mini bar with cold drinks and snacks’ as advertised on their website. Found the room to be quite run down in terms of cleanliness and amenity. Maintenance man walked into my room while I was unpacking as no one told him I had checked in. This place is a catastrophe. I will not return.

Afternoon Tea

We went to this beautiful hotel for the Afternoon Tea experience. Despite having no reservation, the reception people were incredibly kind and welcoming. Our waitress, the Bengali lady with glasses (we forgot her name!) was absolutely charming and excellent.

Nice hotel in Chelsea

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Charming hotel as expected when it's a Relais et Châteaux. Common spaces are bigger than Chelsea townhouse, the second nearby Relais et Châteaux (sister company). This one has a library, a mirrors room, an afternoon tea area, a bar area, a gym... Our room (the 206), though, was rather small, and I was surprised that no cotton, cotton buds, and similar amenities were available in the (tiny) bathroom. Other than that, it surely lives up to the Relais et Châteaux standards. And the neighbourhood is pretty nice (pedestrian Pavillion road, Saatchi gallery...).

VERY POOR.We cannot believe this is a Relais and Chateau property!!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I usually really like to stay in Relais and Chateau properties, however, 11 Cadogan Garden, sadly has been the exception. The hotels quite gloomy and needs an update. Our room has absolutely nowhere to put clothes!! There is one small closet, no drawers!! The lights are impossible to figure out as well. The service is horrendous as well. WE are so disappointed in our stay.
