Went for afternoon tea for a friends birthday. The staff were very attentive and friendly and was made very welcome The food was excellent

The hotel staff was very responsive and cooperative. The meals at Eastway Brasserie were good, Housekeeping and Daily cleaning was perfect. Overall, had a very good and pleasant stay. Didn't knew when it was already 2 weeks and I had to checkout. A must recommend located in the heart of city.

After booking your stay you will receive emails. Many emails. One of the emails, at the very end of the email, they will tell you they will charge you an extra 5% "Discretionary" fee. No saying why. No saying it is optional. No saying you don't have to pay the 5% extra. No saying anything except you will be charged an extra 5% at the end of your stay. Is this legal? It's certainly dishonest.

The property is spotless, the staff are friendly and attentive, the breakfast is great, the property has some nice amenities and perks, and they honor status benefits (some luxury properties seem to opt out of doing that). And you could not ask for a more central location. 10/10, hope to return.

My friends and I attended the Paradiso Brunch at Andaz. The DJ was brilliant - however - the bar was too light and there wasn't really anywhere to get up and dance. It lacked the party vibe atmosphere that it is trying to achieve. The food was ok - nothing spectacular. We had to constantly ask for jugs of water and top up of drinks - if the restaurant had been at full capacity I would have understood but they were not rushed off their feet and we got the impression the staff couldn't really be bothered. Such a shame as we were looking forward to this. We would not rush back.
