From art installations to a poet in residence, the Andaz London Liverpool Street captures London's exuberantly creative spirit. This classic Victorian hotel turned hip urban retreat is "a style coup for designer Sir Terence Conran," raves Fodor's in August 2005. Bedrooms are chic and sleek at this Luxury Resorts affiliate, while dining is some of the best in the city at Aurora, shimmering beneath a stained glass dome, and the Fishmarket with its seductive Champagne bar.

Amazing level of services and support provided by the hotel team, very convenient hotel location, excellent food and beverage choices

Exceeded expectations. I have top-tier status with a different hotel chain, but the Andaz made more sense for this stay (better price, location, etc.) so we tried it out. No regrets -- the staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and professional, rooms were a decent size, bed and pillows were comfortable, AC worked as expected, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. The hotel was also kid friendly without being kid-centric, including kid options at the happy hour.

The rooms and hotel are very clean, and the location is excellent. Attentive Staff. Free coffee is a nice touch. The attached restaurant is pleasant but somewhat expensive compared to nearby alternatives. They offer a nice breakfast buffet. Overall, it was a good experience.

Perhaps they just had an off week, but this was not a good stay. I traveled internationally, and I was not able to check in until 1 hour after the stated check in time of 3pm. They indicated they were “looking for an upgrade” as I am a globalist. I did not get an upgrade, which I understand as it was a busy week, but check in should have been completed on time. Once my room was ready, my bag that I had checked in the lobby had not yet arrived. I asked to take the bag myself as I needed to get to a reservation, but the bag was already being transported to my room. After waiting another 15 mins, I had to look for my bag around the hotel and fortunately found the bell man in the elevator with my bag on his way to a different floor. Room was small and the shower flooded every day. I had to use all the towels daily to dry off the floor. The first two days were manageable but the water was considerable on the last two.

A great location for tubes, trains and buses. Also, good walking access to all of the East End sites and the river. The hotel is stylish and full of character, combining original with contemporary in a successful marriage. There is a great chilled vibe in the characterful reception area. The staff are outstandingly welcoming and professional and the service is exceptional. Rooms are a good size with high quality linens and products and good soundproofing. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is out of this world - amazing.
