About the Hotel

From art installations to a poet in residence, the Andaz London Liverpool Street captures London's exuberantly creative spirit. This classic Victorian hotel turned hip urban retreat is "a style coup for designer Sir Terence Conran," raves Fodor's in August 2005. Bedrooms are chic and sleek at this Luxury Resorts affiliate, while dining is some of the best in the city at Aurora, shimmering beneath a stained glass dome, and the Fishmarket with its seductive Champagne bar.

Andaz London A Property in Decline

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 15 hours ago

I have stayed at this hotel at least 40-50 nights over many yrs if not more. In 2026 alone I have been here 17 room nights. As a Hyatt Globalist I can say that things have declined over the years. My recent stay although upgraded to a suite using an upgrade cert, that room has a weird layou. The suite part second room was a narrow space with a closet to the bathroom. The shower was basically what you might see on a cruise ship. I have been in many of their rooms and have never seen a bathroom with kind of shower in this hotel. The hotel has been cutting costs in a major way and it seems huge staff turnover as well. The location is good and I do spend many Hyatt nights around the world. The breakfast buffett, when in the smaller room is fine although its uninspired and the additional menu offerings I have always wondered who put together the small 3 item menu. When they have a large crowd on weekends/holidays the large room for breakfast is noisy and chaotic. As somebody with experience in the hotel/restarant industry and many hotel nights around the world I can only wonder. If you came to this hotel pre-covid it was a much better experience all around. I sum it up in stating that its disappointing what has been going on at this property. When they are full or near max capacity, thats when problems really seem to show more.

Excellent location, fantastic bed, great value for money. The hotel staff are incredible, from the reception team, bar staff to the team at breakfast. Oh and breakfast is OUTSTANDING ... make sure you go! I had the pleasure of meeting Omar Osman (Snr Sous Chef) lovely chap. This place is a WINNER!

Great Stay at Andaz London

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our standard suite was spacious and well appointed, with a very comfortable bed and everything we needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The breakfast selection was extensive, and the breakfast staff were particularly attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Housekeeping was also highly efficient, and our room was kept clean and tidy throughout our stay. The hotel is also located in a very busy and central area with lots of cafe and restaurants, which makes it extremely convenient, although the surrounding area can feel quite crowded at times. Overall, we were very impressed with the service, facilities, and overall experience. We would definitely stay here again and would be very happy to recommend this hotel to others.

Hipster average

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Ok first off this is not a 5 star hotel. It’s a well situated hotel in the City of London, steps from Liverpool station and near some nice restaurants. Our room had a nice bed and a clean bathroom. Staff was pleasant but distracted. This is a hipster place trying to suit business travelers and not particularly well. Room was a dark cave with absolutely no place to put your suitcase except on the floor (or as some will do on the bed). Bathroom had no counter space at all. Breakfast next door was good and the room offered free waters/soda and snacks daily which was nice. If you have business here and you’re under 35 you might like it.
