The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences

We had a wonderful stay at the Athenaeum to celebrate a milestone birthday. The staff were friendly and approachable, especially Matt on the door who was so welcoming and helpful. The birthday treats in our room, including a bottle of bubbly, were lovely touches and very much appreciated. We were delighted to receive a room upgrade and it was top notch. The breakfast was delicious as well. Overall, a fabulous experience and we would definitely return!

The staff are incredible. Our breakfast experience was made delightful by the wonderful Rayjan, Emmie and Valerija. This team is excellent and their customer service is top north. Our overall stay has been made unforgettable by the Front desk manager Gideon and his wonderful team. The concierge made our day feel special by how helpful the whole team is. This was my first stay at this hotel, and I must admit that I was a little apprehensive before my arrival. However, the experience exceeded my expectations in every possible way. I would like to sincerely thank the entire hotel team, without exception, for their warm hospitality, professionalism, and genuine care throughout my stay. He is an exceptionally kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful person. What impressed me most was that he never waited to be asked for assistance — he was always attentive, proactive, and ready to help with a smile. His warmth and dedication are a true reflection of outstanding hospitality, and he is undoubtedly a great asset to the hotel. Thanks to this wonderful experience, I will definitely be recommending this hotel to my family and friends, and I will especially tell them about Abdulrahman and the exceptional service he provided. What started as a first visit with some hesitation ended as an experience I would be very happy to repeat. I will certainly return on my future visits. We booked to have afternoon tea, what a super experience. Sandwiches were fresh and tasty, the scones beautifully warm and crumbly and the cakes truly served my sweet tooth Valenija’s service and attention to details was impeccable
