Have now stayed on 6 occasions, occasionally business, but mostly pleasure. The hotel and staff are outstanding value in an overheated London Hotel market. Staff take pleasure in making the stay an excellent experience in every manner.

I had an excellent stay at The Athenaeum Hotel. The service was warm, professional, and truly memorable. Special thanks to Gideon, Kal, Daniel, and Amira — each of them showed outstanding hospitality and made my visit feel effortless and comfortable. Highly recommended, and I look forward to returning soon.

We had a wonderful stay at the Athenaeum hotel. The staff truly made the experience exceptional—special thanks to Daniel, Pedro, Rahman, and Matt. They made us feel incredibly welcome, almost like part of a family, and their warm hospitality really stood out. The hotel itself was also very nice and clean, creating a comfortable and relaxing environment throughout our stay. Highly recommended, and we look forward to returning!

This place is a cracker. We had the warmest welcome we've ever received and this was a first time visit. We arrived 14/11. It was the night of the staff party and it was clear that this was a great team which probably explains the good vibe (they invited us to join in but we were already committed). We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. Lovely bar and heated outside seating area where you can watch the world go by. The latter is very rare in upper end hotels in Mayfair (maybe unique). It's a five minute walk from the bustle of Shepherds Market so not an Ivory tower. Thanks to Daniel on the front for being so helpful. Highly recommended and we're going back in two weeks time as a result of our first experience there. Hope that speaks for itself.
