One of the best afternoon tea experiences in London
Our afternoon tea at The Anthenaeum was wonderful. The sandwiches were delicious, so tasty and fresh ( being a vegetarian this is often hard to achieve). The scones were warm, soft and fluffy. The individual cakes were beautifully presented and also tasted amazing. I was able to try 4 different flavoured teas ( and if I had room could have tried more). Our waitress Valerija was very attentive and ensured all our needs were met. Amanda was fantastic. She made our visit extra special. The way she interacted with us and other guests was outstanding. She was friendly, but professional. We really had a great afternoon and will definitely be returning. As an afternoon tea connoisseur The Anthenaeum Hotel is definitely one of the best. We hope to return and try the tea experience next.

Masterclass with chef Sergei
Fantastic experience with the amazing chef Sergei and lovely stay at the Athenaeum. Highly recommended and chef Sergei is such a great teacher - patient and knowledgable.

I attended for my friend’s bridal shower and had such a wonderful experience that I felt I had to leave a review — even though I’ve never written one before! From the moment we arrived, the treatment and hospitality were absolutely amazing. Our hostess, Emmie, was so warm, attentive, and welcoming, and she made the whole event feel extra special. Everything was organized beautifully, and she made sure our group was comfortable and taken care of the entire time. A special thank you as well to pastry chef Francesca — the desserts were incredible and such a highlight of the bridal shower. Not only were they beautifully presented, but they tasted amazing too! The atmosphere, service, and attention to detail made the celebration unforgettable. I’m so grateful for the experience and would highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion.
