Went in for 3 spa treatments and a meal (package) with some friends for her birthday - facilities were spacious and clean, truly felt like a luxury experience - the beauty therapists did a fabulous job- great massages, and the treatments were very soothing - we went on a Sunday afternoon which meant it was relatively quiet which was lovely for as it felt like we had a lot of room to ourselves- Osheen our server did a smashing job - bringing us food, menus and drinks really quickly - they were also very accommodating for us with our cake and the candles, kept it in a fridge till it was ready to be brought out, would recommend!

I had an amazing spa day and cream tea for my husband's birthday at The Athenaeum. Shoutout to Emmie who made our meal extra special and was too kind to us 🥰. Facilities may be small but are very well kept, and the staff schedules appointments in a way that makes you feel you're in a private spa.
