The Chesterfield Mayfair

We stayed for the second time at The Chesterfield Mayfair last week and loved it. I have never stayed in a hotel with such spotless bathrooms. The staff are all friendly and helpful. You are greeted each time you leave and return. The breakfast room is lovely and selection is very nice. Sem's is was one of our favorite paces to relax and have a drink and a bite.

Visited The Chesterfield Mayfair for afternoon tea with a friend and was really impressed with the food and the service. The sweetshop afternoon tea was a real treat, bringing back childhood memories of cola bottles, love hearts and fruit salad sweets. There were some unexpected extras which we loved and the chocolate scones were wonderful. The setting was very relaxing, and at no point did we feel rushed. The service was excellent, with all the staff being friendly and helpful. We'd like to give a specific shout-out to Tiffany who was just so welcoming and went out of her way to make sure we got everything we wanted. We had a lovely afternoon drinking tea and champagne and eating delicious treats, and the overall cost was far lower than the equivalent in most other Mayfair hotels. Overall it was a great experience and we are very likely to return.

Excellent hotel in perfect central location in the heart of Mayfair. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

Such a lovely weekend at The Chesterfield - staff were so welcoming and accommodating. As to be expected the rooms were beautifully clean and comfortable . We also really enjoyed an evening drink at the roof terrace bar ‘Stanley’s’ - a real gem.

This is the most hospitable hotel I’ve ever experienced. Immaculate in every detail, it exceeded all expectations. I’ve stayed at other hotels in Europe and 4-5 star hotels in the US, and this hotel was definitely one I would recommend above all others. What truly made this stand out was the welcoming attitude from every member of the staff we encountered, regardless of the time of day or how busy the hotel was. We decided to splurge on the hotel for our 7-day stay. It is possible to pay for breakfast in advance for budgeting purposes, and we paid for our stay in advance for a 15% discount on our room rate. I would not call this a family hotel, although I’m sure children would find it comfortable and the menu in the restaurant had a children’s section. The hotel is in a neighborhood rather than a main street, so there is no traffic noise. Upholstered walls also created a soothing and quiet atmosphere. The lobby has comfortable leather couches and chairs, as well as huge bowls if fresh apples available for a quick snack as you are coming or going. We were a short walk to Green Park Station and Buckingham Palace, as well as Berkley Square, Sheppard’s Market, and shopping. We enjoyed dining in a pub around the corner as well as in the hotel restaurant, bar, and room service. The porters and doorman were always happy to hail a cab if we didn’t want to walk to the Underground station, and each greeted us by name every time we passed through the lobby. If your budget allows, I highly recommend The Chesterfield Mayfair. This was our first stay at a Red Carnation Hotel, but it will not be our last.
