The Chesterfield Mayfair

Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights as an anniversary trip and it did not disappoint! From the moment we set foot in the hotel we were blown away with the kindness of the team. A special mention to Israel & the South African lady at reception, they were beyond admirable. As this was our anniversary they really made it feel so special. All facilities and our room were perfect. Location was excellent. Very tranquil and peaceful hotel with pianist playing in bar in the evening. Overall I believe it is better than value for money and I couldn’t recommend it more. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you to all the team that made this a memorable trip.

I yet again thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Chesterfield Mayfair. I regularly travel to London, and this is undoubtedly my hotel of preference. The entire teams' professionalism, whilst cordial, is also, both commendable and proficient. Erin at the front desk was especially helpful, thanks to all for making my stay as comfortable as possible.

We love to stay at the Chesterfield. This is a character, quality hotel with lovely staff in a great, quiet location. Our car was valet-parked and our bags were taken to our room. Rooms have every comfort and amenity and are serviced twice per day. On check-in we were asked if we were in town for anything special, so we told them that we were going to see Mamma Mia the next day. When we came back to our room after dinner there were 2 bags of sweets, two bags of popcorn and a note to say enjoy Mamma Mia-a lovely touch! Quality is evident everywhere : Grohe bathrooms, Floris toiletries, Christy towels, etc. The bar has a club-like feel to it and a nice man played lovely tunes on a grand piano-he played La Vie En Rose on our request. Breakfast is a real treat with everything served at your table. The menu has an extensive range of breakfast items from which we enjoyed pancakes, bacon and maple syrup one day and eggs, sausage and black pudding ( great to see this on the menu) the next. We agree with all the positive comments from other reviewers too and we are sure that if you go there, you will love it too.

We had a lovely afternoon tea there. Elaine and Alexa served us and they were both brilliant. Would definitely come again

I was in London for business and booked this hotel for proximity to my meetings. The traditional feel of the hotel and excellent service had me wishing I had brought my family. The legendary charm of the Mayfair district and the proximity to Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park are a plus.
