Exceptional

I had the pleasure of returning to Claridges in January. My stay was very enjoyable. The staff were very professional but warmly so and they had an impeccable attention to detail. The room was beautifully designed, immaculately serviced and with a very comfortable bed. The food was excellent. It is impossible to want to stay anywhere else in London. I cannot speak highly enough about this hotel.

Amazing Afternoon Tea

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Outstanding experience , as always. Afternoon tea with friends. Mario, our waiter was excellent. Polite, professional and attentive. He was extremely knowledgable about the food served and went above and beyond to make it an outstanding experience. The sandwiches are beautifully presented with quality ingredients and taste amazing. The deserts and scones are also outstanding. All fresh and taste amazing. All staff we encountered, including the two ladies in the cloakroom went above and beyond. A visit is definitely recommended. We will be back soon. Thank you Claridges for being amazing ❤️

Simply the best HOTEL London

From the moment you walk up to the front entrance, and John the Scouse doorman warmly greets you, it’s lovely to always return to Claridges . The room I was given as always did not disappoint thank you Amin front of desk, I would also like to thank Igor the Butler who always got one or two issues sorted, at the Dante restaurant the food was good and thank you Elizabeth always so very helpful as soon as you step inside the foyer it’s just classic class to me personally the most wonderful hotel in London and one of the top hotels from around the world . Look forward to returning in the summer the staff at the hotel are a credit to Claridges.

Went for a friend's 60th🎂🥂🎁 birthday Staff were very friendly and attentive Atmosphere was lovely, we were made very welcome with anything we needed we just had to ask The food was fabulous and the staff very nice. We weren't rushed in any way and stayed and enjoyed the occasion. Alexander from Serbia was really lovely and went out of his way to make our first time with them very memorable. We went home with goodie bags, cakes, sweets chocolate's having had a fabulous time. Plenty of laughter and full to the brim with food. We would all like to thank everyone for a wonderful experience , and hope to come back again.

Afternoon tea - a bit disappointing.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Afternoon tea here on Saturday was a little disappointing. Probably a 3.5 / 5 but no option to give 1/2 points. Good:  * In common with other high-end teas, ample portions and extra of anything you particularly liked.  * Service at start/middle was good.  * Generous glass of champagne with the champagne option. * An extra small cake for birthday - not strictly necessary due to aforementioned portions, but it was a nice gesture. * Claridges own blend of tea is lovely.  Not so good  * Dreadful seat. I was stuck behind a pillar next to the piano- no view of room and musicians changing over/chatting was distracting. I booked 3 months in advance and was smartly dressed so presume just drew short straw. The equivalent table on the other side was left empty - but might have been slightly better option. * Service deteriorated at the end - we were ignored for quite a while and needed to walk over to the front to ask for our bill (possibly we were not seen as we were tucked away out of sight).  * Food not quite as nice as equivalent places - cucumber a little thickly cut, the little savoury was a bit uninspiring etc.  All in all, a perfectly nice tea, but I'd recommend the Ritz or Fortnum's ahead of Claridges. If you do go and get stuck next to the piano, ask to be moved- I didn't realise what a dampener it would put on my experience.
