This was our 2nd stay at this beautiful hotel and again it was wonderful! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, our room was exceptional, it really is a lovely hotel and looking forward to our next stay.

My Mum and I visited last week for my birthday treat. Wow! What a fabulous experience. Elegant surroundings, delicious food and superb service. I would like to mention especially, the pianist, Kevin, who guided us on arrival and chatted to us at our table before playing a requested Christmas song and then Happy Birthday. Also, James, our waiter, you have a gem there. He was friendly yet professional and really enhanced our afternoon delights with his different tea recommendations. We really learnt something new! The jars of complementary jam were a lovely final touch. We have sampled afternoon tea at the Ritz and the Savoy but the Corinthia is now our favourite for its quality and ambience (and stunning tableware!!). Thanks so much. We’ll be back.

Visited yesterday 6th December 2025. The food was amazing except for one dessert which we were advised had to be shared it between the 2 of us? we have been to numerous places in London for Afternoon Tea and never experienced this! We were were there celebrating a special birthday which the hotel were aware of but this was not even mentioned or acknowledged? Very disappointing. The service was extremely poor sandwiches turned up but we had to sit and wait for quite sometime before the tea was served.! We were asked if we would like more tea halfway through the experience which we said yes please but unfortunately the tea never arrived which was very disappointing. Despite failings on the service side we enjoyed the majority of our experience the hotel was lovely, would we revisit or recommend the Corinthia London absolutely not! The service really needs improvement as they want to add a service charge to your bill! This should be asked first if you are happy with the service before them just adding it to your bill! It’s so wrong that a service charge is added without being asked if you were happy with everything! When the staff was aware we wasn’t happy with the service we were offered 2 takeaway teas!

Overall the hotel is very good but tbh as a 5 star establishment charging a lot of money then that matches expectations, not exceeds. Breakfast each day was excellent and in line with what we’d expect. Would’ve given 4.5 if possible but not 5 as a couple of things not quite right. No dressing table with mirror & power to dry hair. Had to use mirror & power by the door. Secondly the service in Kerridge’s bar not great nor friendly. The cocktail bar was excellent with very friendly, attentive staff & garden bar was good. Spa was very nice and staff helpful and friendly . Although with the spa lift out of action (these things happen) it wasn’t very clear how to access the spa from 2nd floor so we had to go back to our room and call for help. Someone came & helped us out but there is no way we’d have worked it out without this assistance. Good hotel in a good location and we’d return but unlikely to as there are many excellent hotels in London we’d like to try too

Had a two night stay in an executive room. Huge comfy bed, separate shower & bath with TV, spacious room, great view of beautiful building opposite. Lovely breakfast (both in Kerridge’s which is where main breakfast served now, and in room). Afternoon tea was top notch. Thanks to Moon Lounge new manager who showed us around the changes as we haven’t been here for a few years. Really nice guy. Also thanks to Gianni, the hotel’s driver, who took us in the BMW i7 to our dinner in Mayfair, such a nice bloke, really enjoyed our conversation about London.
