I had a wonderful first afternoon tea at the Corinthia after wanting to visit for many years. As soon as we walked in the staff were very friendly and this continued throughout our visit. The service was more informal than I have experienced at similar London afternoon teas which I actually prefer as it felt more personable. The afternoon tea is served in the Crystal Moon Lounge which was a smaller room than I expected but still offers a luxury and intimate feel about it. I felt the staff were incredibly accommodating to dietary requirements; being pregnant there were two sandwiches I couldn’t eat but was provided with alternatives which wasn’t expected but of course appreciated! The egg mayonnaise was definitely the stand-out for me, the other sandwiches were good but if I’m being honest I don't feel they had that wow factor or were justified, I personally feel for £85 per person cucumber and cream cheese shouldn’t be offered! I had the decaf English breakfast tea which had a gorgeous subtle caramel taste. I then moved on to a white peach and mango tea, recommended by our waiter, and I could have drank three more teapots of it! I loved how the scones were served; they were warm, fluffy and served with Cornish clotted cream and both strawberry and apricot jams, although both plain. The sweets trolley came last, the milk chocolate and pecan gateau was absolutely divine and the peach and cream eclair was the perfect light palette cleanser. Overall I really did enjoy this afternoon tea and pleased that I finally got to experience it, but I feel the savouries could have been better.

My parents were staying at a different hotel in London for their friends Golden Wedding Anniversary celebrations, so as my parents are in the 80’s we decided to drive them in to London on the Friday and collect them on the Sunday. My husband loves the Corinthian Hotel, so we chose straightaway to spend our weekend here. We weren’t disappointed, check in super easy, room was ready and we arrived at 1pm, so that was a bonus. Received a bottle of champagne and some macaroons to the room, plus the sweetie jar, which took a hammering!!! Breakfast was plentiful, lots of choice, so we really enjoyed that. Valet parking was a breeze, all staff were helpful and friendly and we just had an amazing, relaxing couple of days seeing the sites of London. Would certainly come back next time in London

Post our London wedding, we decided to book a couple of days away for a staycation in London to relax after the wedding, and we couldn't have picked a better hotel. From the check-in staff, to the breakfast waiters to the spa team, everyone at the hotel was incredibly friendly and offered amazing service. Nothing was ever too much. We mentioned that we were on our mini-moon and they offered us a wonderful room upgrade and treats in the room and the room was very well appointed. The spa is one of the best in London and is included in a stay and is a nice extra touch to relax after a day exploring the city. We have stayed at many of London's luxury hotels and this is one of the best.

We have just returned home after a fabulous three-night stay at the Corinthia. The hotel is in a great location in Whitehall, close to Trafalgar Square, the South Bank and tube stations. The Corinthia is beautiful inside and out, with a delightful atmosphere. All of the staff we engaged with during our stay were friendly and helpful - thank you to them. Our room was excellent, with a comfortable large bed, seating area, walk-in wardrobe with lots of storage space and excellent bathroom. The spa is fantastic and well worth a visit or two during your stay. I would highly recommend staying at the Corinthia and look forward to visiting again next time we are in London.
