We spent a weekend this July in London at the Dorchester. The hotel was above expectations and we loved every minute of our stay. A special thank you to Anuar in the promenade who couldn’t do enough for us during our stay, always warmly welcoming us and making us feel totally at home at the hotel! We would return to see him alone he was so good to our little girl so thanks Anuar and all at the Dorchester for your hospitality! see you soon! 🫶 Danny, Andrea & Alexandra Drysdale

Had a recent stay at The Dorchester and it really is one of those “London institutions” that lives up to the name. From the moment you arrive, it feels like you’re stepping into something a bit special – not showy, just properly polished. The service is slick but never stiff – everyone we dealt with was warm, switched-on, and made the whole experience feel effortless. Rooms are classic in style (don’t expect modern minimalism), but beautifully done. Big comfy bed, plenty of space, and proper attention to detail. You can tell they haven’t cut corners anywhere. That said, if you’re after a modern, contemporary vibe, this probably isn’t the place for you – it’s all about timeless luxury and that old-school glamour, which they do incredibly well. Had drinks in The Bar before dinner – highly recommend. Dark, glamorous and a bit theatrical in the best way. Didn’t eat at the main restaurant this time, but breakfast was spot on, and you can see the whole place runs like clockwork. It’s not cheap, obviously, but for a proper “London moment” or special occasion, it hits the mark. You’re paying for history, location and impeccable service – and they don’t disappoint on any of those.

Its a pleasure to stay at the Dorchester ! The staff are all welcoming and Anwar is definitely still glowing (he always gives us a great time at breakfast at the Promenade) 🌷!! Looking forward to staying with our Dorchester family very very soon 🩷

We did not stay at the The Dorchester but went for Sunday afternoon High Tea. It is over-rated and very very expensive. The cost was comparable to having a Beef Wellington dinner at Wiltons--just for some tea and snack sandwiches! And the tea service is not good: unbelievably they leave the tea leaves in the teapot after serving the first cup. Any beginner knows you have to remove the tea leaves or they continue brewing and create a bitter taste. Sorry we went and do not recommend it.

This was a trues 5 star experience. I booked a 2 night stay in a junior suite. This was due to my 70th birthday year - actual date was in march. But it was a bucket list stay. I drove to the hotel and valet parked. As for 2 days it was cheaper than getting a taxi to and from home to hotel. The valet was extremely courteous and helpful. We checked in and the receptionist advise that we had been upgraded to a Dorchester Suite. He showed us to the suite and introduced us to our butler. Who sorted out some cake and fruit. The suite was excellent. - a massive bedroom , separate lounge with a dining table for 6 persons. Unfortunately The weather was not too good and so we spent some time in the lounge relaxing. The restaurants were a good choice , but we ate in the promenade where the staff were so friendly. There was no one who w§e could have said was not nice. A magnificent hotel and I have stayed in top hotels around the world. Can’t wait till 1’m 80
