The Egerton House Hotel

Have read about the Egerton House Hotel for years and were so glad to finally be able to go there. The hotel is on a quiet side street but very well located when it comes to pubs, restaurants, public transportation and Harrods. The service from the entire staff was wonderful--especially Jacques and Clea, the concierges. They were professional, attentive, patient with all our questions and very kind going out of their way to be sure we were well taken care of and happy. Their pub and restaurant recommendations were spot on. Also, the staff in the breakfast room, especially the woman from Hungary were great. We are not morning people but they and the delicious breakfasts made getting up a pleasure. The evening bartenders were fantastic as well. If you are looking for a place to be pampered, this is it. The room--while a bit small--was well designed and comfortable and the bathroom was just beautiful with some great accoutrements. Thanks to all for a wonderful stay and can't wait to return.

Staying at the Egerton, my family and I were truly able to relax. We had just flown into London and needed a spot to recuperate from jet lag before we began our 3 week stay in England. The Egerton thought of everything- from arranging our transport to special, customized details for us. The staff was welcoming and kind, and the food was wonderful too. We would happily stay here again!

I’m convinced that Egerton House Hotel is the best hotel in London. It is located in a quiet area but with easy access to transportation. Every single member of their staff was warm, friendly and helpful which created such a welcoming and calm environment. Everything from the pristine room, daily breakfast and afternoon tea was perfect. Would definitely recommend!

This is simply a wonderful place to stay in London. The location is perfect, with museums and shopping on the doorstep. The rooms are incredibly comfortable with everything you could ask for and more, including fresh fruit and homemade shortbread. However, it is the staff who really make this a home from home. Every member of the team at Egerton House is welcoming, friendly and genuinely warm; nothing is too much trouble for them. I’m just about to book another visit - we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
