Four Seasons London at Park Lane

What a wonderful stay! Everything was seamless from check-in to check-out. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the location near Hyde Park is perfect. You can truly feel the five-star quality and attention to detail throughout the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, and I especially enjoyed the gym, sauna, and Jacuzzi facilities. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, with a special thank you to Mohammed and Lana at the front desk for their outstanding service and genuine hospitality. A fantastic experience overall—I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

My partner & I decided to celebrate our anniversary first with drinks at “ANTOINE” bar and then dinner at “PAVYLLON” restaurant, both at The Four Seasons hotel in Park Lane… and what an evening to remember. Starting off with 3 glasses of Dom Perignon champagne in the bar (seated outside) then dinner in the excellent “Pavyllon” restaurant as follows: starters of vegetable ravioli and fettuccine with pesto, these were the lightest pastas either of us had tasted - we were off to an excellent start. Mains were ‘cut of the day’ which was Wagu Beef steak (the size of the cut chosen table-side beforehand (£55 per 100g)) and beef fillet with a side of sautéed vegetables washed down with a glass of a superb light red pinot noir (“Chassagne Rouge Voillenots”) and a glass of non-alcoholic “Bruno Andreu”. Desserts of creamy chocolate soufflé (including a sauce flambee’d table-side and poured into the centre of the souffle) and almond cloud. The cost? The bar bill totalled £266.80 (inc 15% sc) and restaurant bill was £431.08 (inc 15% sc). Now, I’m a pensioner and my partner is working as a sales advisor so we’re not rich by any means – but by regularly saving up it’s possible to enjoy places like this. Was it worth it? – ABSOLUTELY! Why?... because of the superb surroundings, the first-class service and – of course – the quality of the drinks and food. This was an evening to remember. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This review is, in some ways, an apology. I treated my parents to a stay at the Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane when I was proud, exhausted, and deeply invested in giving them something special. When a few things fell short of my expectations, I reacted with an intensity I regret. I wanted the experience to be flawless because I love my parents, had worked incredibly hard to give them the trip, and hadn't yet learned how to leave the pressure of work at the office. What remains is a beautiful hotel in an extraordinary location, a tasteful room, excellent breakfasts and afternoon tea, and the memory of giving my parents a few special days in London, my favorite large city in the world. I also have a much greater appreciation for hospitality itself. Human beings run hotels, travel is complicated, and even exceptional places can occasionally have an imperfect moment. Luxury hospitality requires an extraordinary degree of patience, consistency, and grace when expectations are exceptionally high. I have come to appreciate how difficult that work must be, and how effortlessly the Four Seasons team so often makes it appear. Four Seasons remains one of the great hospitality brands in my mind, and its ability to deliver such a high standard across so many properties is equally impressive. This hotel combines London, Mayfair, Hyde Park, and one of the finest hotel locations in the world. The experience ultimately taught me something about expectations, gratitude, and the privilege of being able to treat the people who have done so much for you. I hope to return with more perspective and enjoy this remarkable hotel for what it is.

The reception was good, the room nice but small, the staff were excellent the breakfast was a bit over-sold, and expensive. The toilet in the room had a smell, I told reception when we left and they said they would email but nothing has arrived yet but it's only 9 hours since we left. In general an outstanding hotel in a good location.

This was my first visit to London for a while and we decided to say at the Four Seasons due to being satisfied on previous visit several years ago. The hotel has undergone significant refurbishment since my last visit and the resulting changes have changed the interior appearance significantly (for the better). Its position at the bottom of Park Lane is ideal, with many of the places that you’re probably going to visit all within walking distances. The service that we received from every department of the hotel was absolutely outstanding, nothing was too much trouble and every request was met with a smile. I’d say the hotel comfortably conforms to the description “luxury hotel” and if you’re looking for that kind of experience in London, then it’s going to come at a price and that price carries a premium. If you prefer no frills budget accommodation (as we sometimes do), then this hotel is probably not for you. However, if you occasionally like to enjoy a few small luxuries, then the Four Seasons Park Lane will not disappoint. We stayed four nights in a deluxe room (no.505), which was very nicely furnished, very comfortable and contained simplified technology. When we unpacked we requested extra hangars, which were delivered to our room within about three minutes, as was a two pin adapter plug for my wife’s hair equipment (!). On arrival the team at the front door took care of our luggage and parked the car and Lana on the front desk gave us a warm welcome and checked us in with the minimum of fuss. Each morning the breakfast team took care of us and in the evenings the staff in both the restaurant and the bar (where food can also be ordered) were extremely helpful and friendly, especially a young lady of French Caribbean origin, whose name I didn’t get. She was particularly helpful and took excellent care of us. She enjoyed chatting in her native language to my wife, who is also French. We have no hesitation in recommending The Four Seasons at Park Lane to anyone visiting London.
