Itâ€(TM)s no wonder Fodorâ€(TM)s declares The Franklin Hotel â€oeromantic. Though its the location is in the center of Knightsbridge, one of Londonâ€(TM)s most engaging neighborhoods, youâ€(TM)ll feel as if youâ€(TM) have been welcomed into a refined estate in the English countryside. Gardens flank the original Victorian townhouses that comprise this masterfully restructured Small Luxury Hotels of the World affiliate, while individually appointed bedrooms enchant with fine antiques, oil paintings and objets dâ€(TM)art. Relax as you join fellow guests in quiet conversation or, between excursions, linger over afternoon tea.

As stated myself and my mother were very happy with our stay especially for the price point in an upmarket area. Rooms were a very good size for London. the public areas were beautifully decorated. Bar was lovely and the "secret" garden space outside a joy to sit. All staff were very polite if not all were small talk oriented. The Italian bar staff were super and special praise to the small, young Indian I think reception lady who was super friendly and chatty. She remembered we'd seen a couple of shows and asked us about them. S credit to the hotel. For the right price we'd definitely come back.

Excellent hospitality service. Albino shows great professionalism and experience, making every detail feel carefully attended. Gift is equally professional, ensuring guests feel truly cared for, with a kind and thoughtful touch. A truly outstanding experience , we felt genuinely welcomed and perfectly taken care of.

This is a small hotel which means that service is personal and dedicated to the needs of each guest. Our room had a view of Brompton Oratory in this lovely part of London. Despite the central location it was utterly silent.Staff had no problem in finding the right pillow and generally pandering to every need. The concierge was willing and charming.A glorious find.Recommended unequivocally.

Stayed 2 nights, the deluxe room with king bed was very comfortable and beautifully decorated! Well located close to sth Kensington, King's Road and Knightsbridge. Tasty breakfast and dinner in the Russo restaurant. Staff all friendly. Special thanks to Sophia on Reception for sorting out a problem we experienced with disturbed sleep due to night time noise coming from Brompton Road.
