Perfect Location!
The location of the hotel is great. Right near Trafalgar Square, close to the Theater District and easy walking distance to Big Ben, London Eye, Covent Gardens, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. You won't regret where you are situated when choosing this hotel.

Fancy hotel in a perfect location
This may have been the fanciest/quirkiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in! I was in London on a solo trip for a reunion with some Uni friends. I had some Hyatt points burning a hole in my pocket and decided to book the Great Scotland Yard. Boy am I glad I did! The location is perfect! If you walk 10 minutes in one direction, you get to Big Ben, 10 minutes the other direction and you’re in the West End. The room itself was on the small side, but it was perfect for just me. The best part was the heated toilet seat! Be prepared - if you book a rate that doesn’t include breakfast, the breakfast at the hotel can be a bit pricey. I splurged my first morning (and it was delicious), but after that I just walked around the corner to Costa.

Superb hotel in central London! A great family experience!
The attention to detail and impressive kindness of the whole staff at GSY made this, one of the best stays I have had in London. I have been in London several times, mostly as a business traveler and this time I came with my family of 6. We had 3 rooms, as all the rooms were under my reservation, they were kind to anticipate our needs and have us all close together in the same floor. In addition, gave us some vouchers for breakfast and drinks at the famous 40 elephants bar. Superb service, great location and an incredible staff. Highly recommend!
