Great hotel in a great location
This is an amazing hotel on a historic site in a great location. The staff is always super friendly. Rooms are on the smaller side, but overall a great value.

Quiet Beauty

A Gem Worth Returning To
We stayed for one night at Great Scotland Yard on 11 September for a quick city break, and once again, this hotel proved to be a real gem. The warmth and helpfulness of the staff were exceptional, particularly the breakfast team that morning, who made us feel so welcome. Having stayed before, it was lovely to receive a handwritten card from the team welcoming us back — such a thoughtful touch. The rooms are fabulously decorated, with every little detail catered for. I’ve stayed in high-end hotels such as The Ritz, and Great Scotland Yard genuinely offers fantastic value for money. The cocktails in both bars are fabulous too! This is certainly a repeat-visit hotel for me, and we’re already planning our next stay. Thank you to everyone at Great Scotland Yard for making this visit with my mum such a memorable one

Great location!
Great location next to Trafalgar Square and Chinatown. Room was a little small. I’d come stay here again if coming to London.

Great location, facilities, BUT
The management here took a small disconcerting incident with housekeeping and turned it into a series of emails with non-“apologies” and gaslighting. Great location, good facilities, but management absolutely ruined any good will I had towards the hotel. Also, they include a 5% service charge that you need to ask to take off the bill at the end of your stay ( if you so choose). They would not remove at check-in, so the card hold amount will include an extra 5%.
