Impeccable Service
The level of service was exceptional - the rooms were very well appointed and the location was right next to both a dozen tourist attractions (Westminster, Big Ben, the River cruises) and the West End theatre district. We were greeted upon arrival and immediately as I started getting checked in, one of the people in the lobby talked to my kids telling them the history of the hotel and the interesting features (like the secret door to the speakeasy and the rhino chairs). The people in the lobby remembered us and welcomed us for the rest of our stay. The breakfast and dinner staff (at the Yard and 40 Elephants) were incredibly attentive - one thing that stands out is that my son burned his mouth on hot tea, and unprompted a waiter left a water for him.

A welcoming vacation stay
Our stay was very welcoming by the friendly staff and atmosphere. From check in, to front desk assistance, to the Parlor restaurant and check out. We would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Great weekend away
Great location with easy access to tubes, the river, Whitehall, shows and many of the sights. Interesting hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Fully recommend for a weekend in London

Amazing staff and hotel!
We had a problem with another hotel and the great Scotland Yard came to our rescue. We checked in at 11pm- the staff were extremely welcoming helped us book a room and gave us a drink while they sorted our room. Nothing was too much trouble for the night manager and front of desk, we couldn’t have been more welcome. The room was very clean and modern (but complimenting the building) the hotel including our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. The staff we came across were very polite and helpful. The hotels location was great for the historic sights of London. I can’t recommend the hotel enough. Thanks for helping out when our other hotel failed and making our weekend great.
