Grosvenor House, A JW Marriott Hotel

Everything at this hotel is top-notch. The service is unmatched. I’ve never been treated better and the recognition as an elite Marriott BonVoy member is incredible. The executive lounge exudes a feeling of community while providing exquisite food and beverages. The location, rooms and views are breathtaking. But the one thing that sets this hotel apart from the others is the staff. Caring, professional and they go way above and beyond. My favorite hotel in Europe.

Nice location, front desk and concierge employees are kind and helped with all the questions we had. The rooms are in good condition and there are plenty of food options near the hotel. Both Oxford Street and Picadilly are walking distance, also Buckingham and the parks around it. Subway station is close by and there are plenty of other interesting places to visit walking distance.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Grosvenor House from Saturday 26th to Monday 28th April while I took part in the London Marathon, and I can genuinely say the experience was flawless from start to finish. From the moment I checked in, I was met with kindness, professionalism, and an extraordinary level of service. A special thank you to Ricky in Concierge, who went above and beyond to help me plan my route to the London Expo and the Phoenix Theatre – nothing was too much trouble for him. Lisa’s team at Reception were always welcoming and thoughtful. They even provided me with plasters before the race, a small gesture that made a big difference. When I arrived in my room, I was so touched to find a thoughtful gift from the Guest Relations team – a package filled with energy gels, electrolytes, bath salts, oat bars, and a lovely handwritten card wishing me well on my marathon journey. It was such a personal and motivating surprise. A special thank you also to Anya from the In-Room Dining team for the delicious fresh fruit and quite possibly the best version of malted milk biscuits I have ever had! These thoughtful touches made me feel so cared for and really added to the experience. On race day, my partner and I had breakfast in the JW Steakhouse, where a kind team member noticed I was in my running kit and recommended I take some breakfast to go. They then went one step further – approaching the chef and asking him to personally prepare something for me, box it up, and have it brought over. That level of care and attention was truly moving and made me feel incredibly supported. The whole experience was not only luxurious but genuinely supportive and heartwarming. The team at Grosvenor House made a life-changing weekend even more special, and for that, I’m incredibly grateful. Thank you for being part of my marathon journey – I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Exceptional staff and service. The executive lounge may be one of the best I have encountered at any property. The rooms have everything you will need and more, including towel warmers. We did try the new steakhouse that had just opened and they made it a very special night for my family.

This is such a wonderful hotel! Fabulous location, close to everything that is in Mayfair and nearby. Easy in/out with transport, the lobby bar is private (after 6pm) and very well appointed rooms. We’ve stayed here several times. Special thank you to Jay, who helped in the middle of the night after our flight cancellation. Also to Herlyn and Altay for superb bar service and post Easter gifts. It’s the not so small extras and these 3 did a wonderful job going above and beyond. Cannot wait to return again.
