About the Hotel

Belgravia, London is a place where the social elites used to size up their contemporaries—dramas could be written about glances exchanged in Belgravia’s ballrooms that could make Jane Austen blush. In fact, novels have been written about the district’s dramatic social structure by noteworthy authors such as Anthony Trollope, Evelyn Waugh, and Nancy Mitford. Welcome to The Hari, a stylish retreat in the heart of Belgravia, and your new home away from home in London. Designed for those seeking comfort and understated elegance, The Hari is a sanctuary for modern travellers and connoisseurs of luxury. Bordering the areas of Chelsea, Kensington and Knightsbridge, Harrods is just moments away from The Hari’s Belgravia base. London’s leading attractions can also be found a short walk from the hotel, including Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, The Royal Albert Hall and more.

Reviews for The Hari Hotel London

Fantastic desk, not so fantastic restaurant

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

We stayed for a week recently and were extremely happy with the hotel and especially the front desk staff. We had gotten engaged a few days earlier in Paris, and when the staff found out we came back to find a congratulations display in our room, filled with French treats. A lovely touch and one that we really appreciated. The hotel itself is very nice - modern and in a great location close to Hyde Park, Knightsbridge, and Kings Road. It was also possibly the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The only complaint we had was in the restaurant - we went for breakfast a few times, but service was extremely slow and rife with wrong orders (it took us three attempts to get a tea - yes, a regular tea - at breakfast. In a hotel. In London). However, there are many cafes and restaurants nearby, so this was not a major issue. In short - enjoy the fabulous hotel and staff; give the restaurant a miss for breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel with my niece. Our agent booked the room for us through booking.com and the rate was inclusive of tax, service charge and breakfast. My niece checked in at the hotel first and used her credit card for deposit. Later, when I arrived at the hotel, I asked to swap the card and used my card instead. 1. When checking out, I asked the front desk to put the company name in Thailand on the invoice; I have handed my business card to her. However, what she had put on my invoice was my name and the word "Great Britain" instead of the company name requested. She saw it but still handed the invoice to me so I just did not want to bother anymore. 2. There were charges on the invoice such as accommodation service charge, restaurant service charge. Upon returning home, I asked our agent to talk to the hotel and later the hotel refunded the amount charged back to my credit card. It was a mistake as I was told! 3. My niece was charged for certain amount on her credit card and the hotel refused to refund it back citing that this was related to breakfast. At the end, booking.com just refunded the money to my niece. So check all the items on the invoice well before leaving!

Stan at the front door made our stay memorable. Don't lose him Hari Hotel - he is amazing! Thanks Stan. Otherwise, the hotel is nicely decorated, but pretty basic rooms. No view on the interior but very nice vibe throughout.

The finest only stay for a while! A good place for one night.

We visited the Hari Hotel once again, it’s been my destination for over a decade. It’s a special place but also a revolving door when special people decide to leave like Andrea. Andrea the Bar Manager, who I’ve know since he joined has decided to seek a new venue in London. The Hari will carry on, but it can only reach new heights if they retain the best people like Andrea.

Absolutely lovely hotel and located in one of the best areas of town. We had a Premier King Room, it’s their biggest room before the junior suite. Room was very nice and comfortable. Nicely decorated. It had a lovely window sitting area that made it super pleasant to drink my morning coffee at. My complaint about the room isn’t specific to Hari but it’s typical of all European rooms. There aren’t any drawers to unpack your clothes, just hanging space. There is a nice Italian restaurant in the hotel, but we only had breakfast there. There is also a lovely bar/lounge area on the second floor. It was very nice to relax there with a drink. The service at Hari was exceptional. The hotel and restaurant/bar staff are very friendly and always helpful. We would definitely stay at The Hari again next time we’re in London.
