Beyond amazing

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Well this is our second visit there, and we thought they could not out do themselves from last year… Well we were wrong…the service was a 10+. Adel, her amazing assistant, Rubin, Esin and the rest of the staff which would take to must space to write all the names were caring, helpful, attentive, friendly and approachable 24 hr a day. I will not visit London unless I stay there..

Amazing 41

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

What a wonderful place to stay the staff were absolutely amazing and so attentive. The hotel is spotless and the small the staff do such as leaving you messages on your bathroom mirror regarding an excursion you are going on. Also leaving sprays and chocolates on your pillows before bed and going into your room twice a day amazing. The Plunder Pantry is amazing and the food outstanding also sweets in the boardroom which is my favourite place. It’s perfect for getting to all the main attractions either walking or by tube just a superb place to stay and I have stayed many times in London but this place is something else.

Beyond Five Stars

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Hotel 41 is hands down the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The staff go above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and they make you feel like family from the moment you arrive. The rooms are beautiful, spotless, and filled with thoughtful touches. The Executive Lounge with its “plunder the pantry” treats is such a unique perk, and the location right by Buckingham Palace couldn’t be better. If you want a stay in London that feels personal, luxurious, and unforgettable, look no further. Hotel 41 is in a class of its own.

Had an amazing experience at this hotel. Everything from the check in, to the room itself to the friendliness of the staff was 10/10. Room was charming, one of the better hotel stays I've had in a long time. Would absolutely stay here again.

A Reautiful Respite from the tourist madness that is Buckingham Gate

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

This is a five star write-up, but there are areas for improvement. We will get there, but the staff are amazing and so is the respite that is the executive lounge. The rooms are decent size for London. We paid just over $1k per night for the king room. It was very quiet, but given that it is that much, the plumbing fixtures and overall design of the bathroom entry was puzzling. That strange European half shower window is present and getting in and out of it was an exercise in prudence (yes, I realize this is an old building in a monumentally old city, so there are limitations on revision...still). The bathroom is quite small with almost no place to put your toiletries. We were there for the height of tourist season and outside, near Buckingham Palace was a literal mob scene every day, but the 41 was a sanctuary from that madness. Drinks in the Executive Lounge are pricey, but their bartenders certainly know their way around a Cosmopolitan. Breakfast is seventy pounds for two and is quite an excellent affair. The customers are typical, upscale types that were either boisterously loud or quiet and reserved. The staff quietly put up with all of them with efficiency, though they tend to stare at you and when you pass in the hall they lay flat against the wall like you are passing royalty. This is completely unnecessary and off-putting at times, but again, they are a tremendous asset. Luggage to and from the room was flawless and they held our friends' luggage who were only with us for the day as if they were hotel residents. Dinner at the Curry Room is excellent at the Rubens Hotel which is literally attached to the 41. Bottom line: If you must visit London (another story there I suppose), Hotel 41 can be your upgraded home away from home. If you want modern plumbing and showers, you'll need to spend the extra British Pounds and go to the Mandarin or Peninsula. But you will pay dearly for that. Restaurants in the area of the 41 are outstanding, with a special note re Quilon (Southeast Indian); three blocks away and exceptional.

My bid for a five-day stay at the 41 Hotel in London was accepted. I'm writing to report that the hotel experience was extraordinary. The quality of the room (the bed, the bath, and a full panoply of amenities) was five-star. Even more important, the service was unqualifiedly exceptional — personal, attentive, efficient, friendly. I've been pleased with prior Luxury Link bookings but none has been the qualify of the 41 Hotel. It was truly a private residence with full service experience.

What an experience. Small and quaint where service is personal, efficient, and attentive. Never a want for anything. We arrived on my birthday and were treated like royalty the entire 5 day stay! We were greeted with champagne and a staff that was beyond exceptional. What a treat to return to our room after my b-day dinner to find a heart made of rose pedals on our bed and a room filled with red candles -- and a cake! The staff at 41 is exceptional -- they all went out of their way to make our stay so very special. Love this hotel and plan to return soon. Location is across from the Mews at Buckinham Palace. Descrete and wonderful!

Ever impulsive, we gambled on a "Buy it Now" for Hotel 41. And that gamble paid off (they don’t always - being "impulsive" is way over-rated). BUT - What a lovely place! What a terrific staff - every single one of them! This was truly our home for the week we spent in London. We'd start with breakfast in the lounge, back to the room for a rousing game of Wii volleyball (or basketball), walk all over London, back in time for appetizers and to catch up with the staff and other guests, then back out for a show and dinner or more sightseeing. The staff arranged everything for us: exchanging the complimentary champagne for a wonderful chardonnay when they noticed we declined the champagne, setting up the complimentary Wii in our room, theater tickets, high tea, dinners, tours. My favorite thing was getting back to the room at the end of the night: lights dimmed, candles lit, bottled water replenished on the night stands, classical music playing low in the background, and hot water bottles tucked underneath the beautifully turned down covers. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
