The most amazing stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 11 hours ago

The experience from check in to check out was just amazing. The staff were all so lovely and super helpful at all times. The plunder the pantry each evening was so good. Staff of the neighbouring Rubens at the Palace were so nice as well. A 5-10 minute walk from Victoria and a 15-20 minute walk along Birdcage Road to the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. Nice and quiet with an exclusive feeling to it without ever being stuffy.

This definitely needs to be part of your London experience.

I was looking for a place centrally located, intimate (not too large) with a knowledgeable staff. This hotel was so much more than I expected. It was charming! The staff was very clear they were there to assist you. They pampered us at every turn. From thoughtful product in our room to our morning newspaper delivery or our turndown service, we were truly their guest. We were able to walk nearly everywhere we wanted to go for food, shopping and sightseeing on a daily basis. Many parks around us so the walks were often very serene. When we return to London we will always stay with Hotel 41.

Too good to share!

We have just returned from a two-night visit and hit the jackpot in discovering Hotel 41. When you walk in it has the vibe of a private members club with a relaxed atmosphere and luxurious decor. Nothing is too much trouble for the hotel team and their attention to detail is outstanding. They were without doubt the most friendly team we’ve ever had the pleasure to meet! Our room was very comfortable and the best we have stayed in — a fabulous bathroom (great water pressure), excellent air con, superb bed, and everything immaculate. The main executive lounge was great for relaxing with a roaring fire and plenty of complimentary food treats to enjoy. The "plunder pantry" is just wonderful. This hotel is close to so many of London’s main sights but is also a quiet haven away from it all. It is now our absolute favourite place stay in the city and we will definitely be returning soon. Thank you.

One of the best

I have had the opportunity to stay at some great hotels, but this was one of the finest. Located on one floor, across from Buckingham palace, this small hotel had charm, beautiful decore and excellent service. The rooms while not huge, was set up well with a fireplace, and two showers (excellent shower pressure). It was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning system was the best of any hotel I have stayed at. My wife and I love it cold and this room did not disappoint. One night, we went to a concert. We just asked the concierge how to get to the music venue. When we returned late at night, they had a letter under our door with a Spotify play list of the musicians top songs. I have never seen anything like that before and it is why this hotel has some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. If I had to say anything negative, I feel there should be more cheaper options for breakfast. It was kind of an all or nothing and feel it was overpriced for what we actually ate. All together, this was a great place and would highly recommend. I look forward to revisiting on my next trip to London.

Crown Jewel of London

Wow! From the moment you step into the lower lobby until the time you check out you receive the highest level of service imaginable. The hotel is really London’s best kept secret. Ruben and the entire staff make you feel like you are the only guest(s) staying at the hotel. The Full English breakfast and Hugo Spritz by the fire were amazing. It was our 10th anniversary and the entire staff made sure all 3 nights we were there were the most special we ever spent at a hotel. When we come back to London there’s no other property we would stay at!

My bid for a five-day stay at the 41 Hotel in London was accepted. I'm writing to report that the hotel experience was extraordinary. The quality of the room (the bed, the bath, and a full panoply of amenities) was five-star. Even more important, the service was unqualifiedly exceptional — personal, attentive, efficient, friendly. I've been pleased with prior Luxury Link bookings but none has been the qualify of the 41 Hotel. It was truly a private residence with full service experience.

What an experience. Small and quaint where service is personal, efficient, and attentive. Never a want for anything. We arrived on my birthday and were treated like royalty the entire 5 day stay! We were greeted with champagne and a staff that was beyond exceptional. What a treat to return to our room after my b-day dinner to find a heart made of rose pedals on our bed and a room filled with red candles -- and a cake! The staff at 41 is exceptional -- they all went out of their way to make our stay so very special. Love this hotel and plan to return soon. Location is across from the Mews at Buckinham Palace. Descrete and wonderful!

Ever impulsive, we gambled on a "Buy it Now" for Hotel 41. And that gamble paid off (they don’t always - being "impulsive" is way over-rated). BUT - What a lovely place! What a terrific staff - every single one of them! This was truly our home for the week we spent in London. We'd start with breakfast in the lounge, back to the room for a rousing game of Wii volleyball (or basketball), walk all over London, back in time for appetizers and to catch up with the staff and other guests, then back out for a show and dinner or more sightseeing. The staff arranged everything for us: exchanging the complimentary champagne for a wonderful chardonnay when they noticed we declined the champagne, setting up the complimentary Wii in our room, theater tickets, high tea, dinners, tours. My favorite thing was getting back to the room at the end of the night: lights dimmed, candles lit, bottled water replenished on the night stands, classical music playing low in the background, and hot water bottles tucked underneath the beautifully turned down covers. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
