One of London's most intimate boutique hotels, 41 welcomes with the refined atmosphere of a gentleman's club only steps from the Royal Parks and Pall Mall. Named Choice Hotel in Britain and Ireland by AA Inspectors, guests will delight in its chic black and white interiors, accommodations that contain cutting-edge appointments and services that include evening snacks and canapés, drinks, butler service and more. As Fodor's aptly put it in September 2005, "Everything you might need or want is included."

Hotel 41 is such a special jewel in London. Every time we visit London, this is the home we come back to. The team takes such great take care of us. We have no worries. Just pure relaxation and comfort. Hotel 41 is the only hotel for us in London. It's one place where you feel you are welcomed by friends not some anonymous team who doesn't know you and is only there when you seek them out. This team is exceptional. The hotel is also located in an incredible part of London. Love it! Can't wait to go back again.

A fantastic 2 night stay at Hotel 41. All the staff were polite, helpful and professional with the level of service befitting a hotel of its 5 stars. We cannot wait to return!

Luxury hotels, including Hotel 41, get the big things right every time--painless, pleasant, and professional check-in and check-out with champagne, beautifully appointed and maintained rooms, all the expected room amenities, handwritten notes of welcome from management, luxurious linens and towels, powerful air-conditioning, elegant plumbing with forceful water pressure, and gracious staff. However, it is this last element--gracious staff--that sets Hotel 41 apart from its peers. Rather than the rote, repetitious, and ultimately off-putting refrain of "It's my pleasure" that is the hallmark of many competing luxury hotels, the staff at Hotel 41 is composed of genuinely warm human beings who learn their guests names and who are all capable of warm, intelligent, appropriate conversation. Of note are Jess and Ruben in reception and Esin and Shadrack in the dining room. It is through these warm and human conversations that the small things are accomplished: Q. I forgot my glasses for the eclipse two days hence, can you help me? A. Yes, I have a box of them arriving this afternoon and you may have a pair. Q. My niece is arriving at a local airport this afternoon, can you fetch her? A. Of course. What flight and does she look like? Q. Do you have someone who could take me on a walking tour of Chelsea in the morning? A. Yes, there's a gentleman we work with who is excellent. I will set that up for you. Q. May we leave luggage at the hotel until we return next week from Spain? A. Of course, and we will put your luggage in your closet upon your return. And it all happens like clockwork. I don't know how they do it, but management at Hotel 41 has selected and/or trained an exceptional cadre of young men and women who make return visits feel very much like a homecoming and make Hotel 41 itself feel like an oasis of comfort and engaged civility. I very much look forward to my next stay at Hotel 41.

We have indeed stayed at your stunning hotel recently, and how lucky were we that we did? The building and the way it has been decorated is absolutely stunning, the location is amazing and the service was exemplary! In fact I think the quality of service is what we were most impressed with. We certainly hope to stay with you again, though we don't know when we'll be in London again. We have sung the praises of your hotel to anyone who'll listen, it really was an amazing experience staying with you.

I had booked a special weekend for my partner at Rubens at the Palace, advising the hotel that it was his 60th birthday. We were ushered in by the friendly doorman who subsequently greeted us every time we passed him over the weekend and we had an equally warm welcome at the reception desk. When booking in we were told excitedly that we had been upgraded to the Rubens’ sister hotel next door - Hotel 41. We were taken through a ‘secret’ door (after that we could use the discreet but convenient street door) to an elegant hallway that felt more like a grand house than an hotel. While we waited for our room to be ready for us (we had arrived about an hour early expecting just to leave our luggage) we were taken to the Executive Lounge for a relaxed check-in and a complimentary glass of champagne. The lounge has an antique library feel, classically decorated with mahogany bookcases under two chandeliers and a roof lantern. This is where breakfast is taken, but complimentary snacks such as ice cream are available there throughout the day and canapés in the early evening, a nice treat before our very easy walk to the theatre. There is even a small roof terrace where we enjoyed an afternoon drink in the sunshine. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean with an extremely comfortable super-king-size bed with feather pillows, a generous bathroom with two showers (one over a deep bathtub), a separate desk area with tea and coffee, a fireplace and a cabinet concealing the tv and the mini-bar. A beautiful chocolate cake was placed on the corner table wishing my partner a happy birthday. Turn-down service was the best we have experienced: an extra pillow was provided, embroidered with birthday wishes; water bottles and slippers placed by the bed, even our phone charger cables were tidied with velcro tape! Breakfast the next morning was a very relaxed affair in the lounge, with plenty of healthy choices including porridge, granola and yogurt, fruit compote and nuts, as well as plenty of cooked options (we had our favourite avocado, salmon and poached eggs with extra hollandaise) and the most delicious sourdough toast. But of all the wonderful experiences at this hotel, the greatest accolade must go to the staff: every single member of staff that we spoke to was courteous, friendly, enthusiastic, and made us feel like truly valued guests. Everyone we passed also remembered it was my partner’s birthday!

My bid for a five-day stay at the 41 Hotel in London was accepted. I'm writing to report that the hotel experience was extraordinary. The quality of the room (the bed, the bath, and a full panoply of amenities) was five-star. Even more important, the service was unqualifiedly exceptional — personal, attentive, efficient, friendly. I've been pleased with prior Luxury Link bookings but none has been the qualify of the 41 Hotel. It was truly a private residence with full service experience.

What an experience. Small and quaint where service is personal, efficient, and attentive. Never a want for anything. We arrived on my birthday and were treated like royalty the entire 5 day stay! We were greeted with champagne and a staff that was beyond exceptional. What a treat to return to our room after my b-day dinner to find a heart made of rose pedals on our bed and a room filled with red candles -- and a cake! The staff at 41 is exceptional -- they all went out of their way to make our stay so very special. Love this hotel and plan to return soon. Location is across from the Mews at Buckinham Palace. Descrete and wonderful!

Ever impulsive, we gambled on a "Buy it Now" for Hotel 41. And that gamble paid off (they don’t always - being "impulsive" is way over-rated). BUT - What a lovely place! What a terrific staff - every single one of them! This was truly our home for the week we spent in London. We'd start with breakfast in the lounge, back to the room for a rousing game of Wii volleyball (or basketball), walk all over London, back in time for appetizers and to catch up with the staff and other guests, then back out for a show and dinner or more sightseeing. The staff arranged everything for us: exchanging the complimentary champagne for a wonderful chardonnay when they noticed we declined the champagne, setting up the complimentary Wii in our room, theater tickets, high tea, dinners, tours. My favorite thing was getting back to the room at the end of the night: lights dimmed, candles lit, bottled water replenished on the night stands, classical music playing low in the background, and hot water bottles tucked underneath the beautifully turned down covers. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
