Hyatt Regency London, The Churchill

Prime hotel within walking distance to public transportation, tons of restaurants, and main shopping area on Bond and Oxford streets, charming shops at Marylebone and several parks. A wonderful experience, the rooms were lively, service is top notch and I always look forward to my stays here. The breakfast is a fantastic with a broad selection of fresh fruit, rotating hot food choices, pastries and your choice of cooked to order hot items.

The staff at Hyatt Regency Churchill were some of the best and most helpful I’ve experienced. Good firm Hyatt beds, excellent water pressure, impeccable rooms that were a touch larger than most European hotel rooms. Best hotel breakfast spread I’ve ever seen. My kids loved having access to the private Portman Square park across the street, a beautiful place to stroll while they burn off energy in the playground.

Great choice. The hotel is nicely decorated, and the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is well served and has various options for around the world meal choices. Also, the Churchill bar is worth mentioning, a place not to be missed. Overall the hotel has a great location and the amenities are very good

I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Danielle during my visit, and I can honestly say she went above and beyond in every way. From the moment we were seated, she made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Her attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism were outstanding — nothing was too much trouble. It’s rare to come across someone who truly elevates the entire experience, but Danielle did just that. She’s a credit to the team, and I’ll definitely be back thanks to her exceptional service!

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this Hyatt. I booked my stay through my Centurion Amex card, which clearly offers a complimentary room upgrade. However, when I checked in, not only did the staff refuse to honor the upgrade, but they were also extremely rude — treating me as if I were asking for a favor rather than receiving a benefit I was entitled to. Their attitude was completely disrespectful and unacceptable. Already exhausted from travel, I decided not to argue and just head to the room. To my shock, the room they assigned me was actually worse than the one I originally booked — it was a lower category! On top of that, I had specifically chosen a room with a bathtub, and instead, I got a room with only a basic shower. This entire experience ruined the start of my holiday. I expected much better from a brand like Hyatt, especially when booking through an elite service like Centurion. I will never stay at this property again and would strongly advise others to think twice before trusting Hyatt to deliver on their promises.
