The Kensington

I believe the change of management, killed a once great hotel !! All the staff there are like my family , after staying there 10 years . But After the summer , I see new angry aggression, super sad ! I’ll never stay there again ! Angry sad men on reception 😢 Once again to see a lovly hotel , turning against the ones that supported you , no loyalty at all , due to ego on the front desk 🙉😢shame 🤮

We had a truly amazing experience at The Kensington. Our room was clean, well maintained with modern decor and very comfortable. The hospitality from the staff was the highlight of our stay. We arrived late at night and Noel at the front desk was exceptional getting us settled and taking care of all aspects of our reservation including following up the next day. Everyone went out of their way to make it an unforgettable stay. Highly recommend staying at The Kensington!

Fantastic, friendly staff and excellent decor! We arrived in the middle of the night. Greeted by doorman who made sure we were safe and helped us with all our luggage. Rooms are amazingly decorated and extremely comfortable. Service at the bar and at Breakfast is exceptional. A true 5 star boutique hotel.

My daughter & I stayed at The Kensington for 3 nights mid August. From the second we arrived we were made feel like Royalty. The hotel itself is simply beautiful & has that “ Je ne sais quoi” special feel & ambience. Every attention to detail is not over- looked. Without a doubt the staff themselves are superb. A very special mention to Tom, the guest services manager. He is outstanding, goes above & beyond to ensure that every guest is having that “ special Kensington Hotel” experience. He is warm, courteous & welcoming , at the same time, the consummate professional, very dedicated & it is evident he loves his job. Ingrida , at breakfast was just darling. So attentive & provided excellent service. We were recommended this hotel by a friend in New Jersey, 🇺🇸 Best recommendation ever. My daughter & I cannot wait to return.

I’d stayed here before and everything was great but this time things were absolutely horrific not only was the whole room a mess when we got there it had missing paint on the walls. The toilet was dirty. I mean we were just in shock standing there thinking oh I’m never staying here again anyway the manager Tom came up, gave us some fruit and chocolate and talked to us for a bit. we didn’t say anything about the room to be kind at the time, but it was just the beginning of a terrible four days. Let me say this. I’ll never stay there again not only was the kitchen staff a crazy mess, but people were getting their food before they even got their coffee most days it was terrible experience. We did not eat there other than the breakfast we had prepaid for. We did not drink there we did not do anything there. We left every day and came back at night and yet they still managed to take $150 from our deposit for absolutely no reason and when we asked for it back, they literally ignored us and we contacted the Doyle directly and still no answer. I would never stay there again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
