Unreal bridgerton afternoon tea

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Bridgerton afternoon tea!! Honestly well worth the money!! Did we like all the sandwiches no we didn’t to be honest and I didn’t like one of the cakes but at the end of the day you’re not going to like everything!! The staff were amazing and kind and went above and beyond

Lovely Bridgerton theme afternoon tea in a beautiful regency dining room. A delightful experience with impeccable service.

Disappointing Experience at the Cigar Lounge

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Disappointing Experience at the Cigar Lounge I’m writing following a disappointing experience earlier today at The Lanesborough cigar lounge. My friends and I (a group of four) arrived just before 9pm, intending to enjoy dinner and drinks. We were informed that, as a party of four arriving after 9pm, at least two guests were required to order cigars in order to be seated. What was particularly frustrating is that: • The lounge was nearly empty (only one other table occupied) • We were fully intending to spend on food and drinks • We had visited just days prior and were not made aware of this policy As long-standing guests of the hotel, this felt both inflexible and unnecessarily dismissive. It’s difficult to understand why a team would turn away willing customers — especially when the venue was clearly not at capacity — rather than prioritising hospitality and guest experience. Luxury hospitality is not just about policy, but about judgement, discretion, and understanding the value of your clientele. On this occasion, it felt like the opposite. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as it genuinely impacted our perception of what has always been one of London’s most respected hotels.

Excellent food Drinks a rip off

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Excellent food shame about the wine prices. I can buy a bottle of Cloudy bay for £25 they charge £99 plus vat in my book that's going too far. The food excellent and good value too. All drinks £9for a cup of tea And all drinks way over priced. Love to go again but not while they rip off clients.

Flawless Service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

This is a hotel staffed with the most thoughtful people. I just wrapped up a 4 day visit and every encounter with every staff member was a master class in what spectacular service looks like. A big shoutout to three exceptional staff members who were my favorites, Daniel the concierge, Abbras the room’s butler and Kieran, the doorman, who greeted me by name at the front door upon every arrival. One thing that stood out for me was the longevity of the staff’s tenure with the hotel. The food was great, as was the room but it was the employees that made the difference for me.
