About the Hotel

London is calling, and so is The Levin, a luxurious 12-room boutique hotel situated in the exclusive Knightsbridge neighborhood and part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Located next to Harrods and just down the street from Harvey Nichols, The Levinâ€(TM)s brick façade conceals a fabulous mix of contemporary elements and classic appointments reminiscent of the 1930s. Imagine hues of pistachio and Tiffany blue cloaking various fabrics and chandeliers with sleek marble baths creating just the right amount of drama. Your flat-panel television is sure to delight as you flip the channels in search of a Faulty Towers rerun. As for the ho-hum mini bar, it doesnâ€(TM)t exist at The Levin - instead your room is supplied with a cocktail bar allowing you to assume the role of a true mixologist.

Reviews for The Levin

Great boutique hotel close to everything

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

It’s our second time staying in this hotel. We felt safe, comfortable. The greatest sleep I’ve had during my entire trip through Europe this year. Wonderful beds and pillows. We had a minor thing about the shower water spilling into the bathroom floor. This was constant and the hotel staff tried to do something about it. Not much was accomplished though. The breakfast is nice. A little pricey.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Knightsbridge!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

The Capital Hotel & Apartments was one of the highlights of our stay in London. Tucked away on a quiet street just around the corner from Harrods, it truly felt like a hidden gem. The location is excellent—close to wonderful restaurants and only a short walk to the Knightsbridge Underground station, making it easy to explore the city. We stayed in a suite on one of the upper floors with two adults and our 13-year-old daughter. Having two bathrooms was a huge bonus and made our stay so much more comfortable. The only suggestion I would make is to update the sofa bed. It was fine, but it wasn’t quite as comfortable as it could have been for our daughter. What really sets this hotel apart is the staff. The concierge was exceptional, helping us with restaurant reservations, directions, and recommendations throughout our stay. The bell staff was equally wonderful, always making sure we had a black cab whenever we needed one and greeting us warmly each time we returned. The hotel has a small, intimate feel that is a refreshing change from larger London hotels. We felt genuinely well cared for throughout our stay. Without hesitation, we would stay at The Capital Hotel again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming boutique hotel in an outstanding Knightsbridge location.

Highly Recommended – Exceptional Staff!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Wonderful boutique hotel in a perfect location just behind Harrods. The staff were exceptional and provided service that truly matched the high standards we’re used to in the UAE—something I hadn’t experienced elsewhere during my travels across the UK. The only minor downside is the room size, but that’s common in Europe. Highly recommended, and I would happily stay here again. Special thanks to Miguel, Paul, and the housekeeping team for making our stay so memorable.
