The May Fair Hotel

The arrival at the Radisson, The Mayfair Hotel, in London, was challenging. On January 1st, several streets around the area were closed, which should have prompted the reception or back office to notify guests arriving that day and establish strategies to assist them and their luggage a few blocks away, where cars could reach. Arriving in the cold with small children, seven suitcases, and without any assistance from the hotel is certainly unpleasant—especially without prior notice. I don’t think there was enough care provided, and this already made the experience very unpleasant. The change from a private transfer to a cab and even that didn’t work turned the experience of simple arrival 60 pounds more expensive

Very impressed when I walked in the hotel The service from the time I booked in by the reception . Vladi she was very helpful and answered all my questions. The cleanliness was outstanding The service was outstanding nothing was any trouble for the staff

Be careful with the deposit process. Getting your deposit back can be very difficult and takes a long time. The hotel may also charge amounts to your room without clearly informing you, so you really need to monitor your bill closely. I strongly advise guests—especially those coming from Arab countries—to pay extra attention to all charges and deposits during their stay.

Stayed for 1 night just before Xmas so I could take my daughter to a show and see the Christmas Lights. We got upgraded to a suite which has a bed in the lounge for my daughter, only problem was one of the window blinds was missing. Worst of all after checkout and a few days later I noticed a charge of £280.00 against my credit card. I called them straight away and they told me it was for the Minibar which we never touched. We had supposedly drank 2 bottles of Vodka and 2 Beers 😂 Have called a further 3 times since and nearly a week since our initial call and no one has bothered to call back even after a promise every time.

Overall the hotel was superb, the team was very welcoming and the location is walking distance to many places. The showers and bathrooms were a bit small but other than that everything was perfect.
