We booked the ME London as we were travelling to London to see the show ‘Mama Mia’ for our wedding anniversary. The location was absolutely perfect (literally over the road!). From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were treated like VIPS!! The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more attentive. I put a note on our booking to say that it was our anniversary, not expecting anything but wow, we were spoilt!! Our room was upgraded to a room with the most gorgeous balcony and view over London. It was stunning! We also got a bottle of Prosecco and a delicious chocolate dessert with a lovely message on it too. Along with this, we got a really thoughtful handwritten message on the wall by the TV. We were so grateful for the time that the staff put into making our stay special, it was absolutely perfect. We dined in the Lucianos restaurant which again was faultless and the staff were fantastic. I really can’t fault the whole experience, we were sad to only be staying for one night! We will absolutely be back the next time we visit London, thank you so much to the amazing staff for going above and beyond and making this such a wonderful stay.

Booked for my birthday weekend in London for me and my boyfriend. Although we have status with Melia we did not get any upgrade but that’s ok. Our first day was very nice, the hotel is modern and stylish, rooms a little basic but with everything you need for a short stay. The reception staff was lovely and helpful. We grabbed a quick bite at the rooftop bar and enjoyed it very much. I liked that breakfast is a la carte, everything was fresh and tasty (only comment I would have is that all the coffee and tea cups are heavily stained and look dirty). Unfortunately this positive vibe changed on our second evening, when we invited some friends to meet us for a drink at the hotel. I was confident that having some guests over would be possible and quite a common thing to do, but somehow the staff ( especially at the rooftop bar) very rudely told us that we were not welcome, and even that we could not consume the bottle of sparkling wine ( ordered to our room in the hotel!!!) . So we had to sit at the downstairs restaurant but it closed a few minutes after. I just think it’s unacceptable to communicate in such an impolite way and treat us like we were a bunch of drunk teenagers trying to get into a club. Things didn’t improve at the breakfast the next day. We waited so long for our food and our drinks were ice cold by the time it got there. A man sitting at the next table even made a scene and left without eating anything. It was not too crowded and not peak time so I wonder why it was taking so long. To sum up, the stay didn’t match our expectations and considering it was also my birthday ( and they knew since my boyfriend booked a surprise package), we were not treated so nicely. I don’t think I would recommend this hotel to an experienced traveller who pays attention to details.

Very disappointing hotel. Lobby and check in are beautiful but problem after problem. It took 4 requests for ice and 2 hours of waiting before it came. There are mice in their restaurant that scurried across my feet at breakfast. Wait staff was distracted and forgot our orders. Maid service was straight up surly and argumentative. The room was dated and worn. Frustrating experience for so much money. Sadly our 25th anniversary was soured by too many issues.

The Hotel is absolutely beautiful, clean and it smells Divine!! Everyone here are professional, courtesy and truly want you to have a wonderful experience. We DID☺️. There were two individuals that I want to recognize that helped us at the front desk; Pavel and Mergim. They were extremely helpful to my Family and I. Most importantly I would also like to recognize another person who was also just as helpful. Unfortunately we did not get his name but he was very helpful on our three day stay. He is a tall handsome Black Gentleman. He made sure to see how our day was going. Where we had been for the day and if we enjoyed ourselves. He always greeted us when he saw us making our stay quite comfortable. Please ensure he knows that we appreciated him very much indeed!!!!
