The Milestone Hotel

My wife and I shared two nights at The Milestone Hotel in Kensington. It is a rare jewel! The service and staff are fantastic. All of the staff combine wonderful service with a warm hospitality. Our room over looked the Kensington Palace with a wide bay window. It was a wonderful, calm oasis. It you enjoy an old style and traditional hotel with fabulous service, then I can fully recommend. My wife had a great massage in the spa. We will be returning.

My Wife and I are in our late seventies and have travelled the world staying in many many hotels abroad and particularly London. We stayed for one night at the Milestone Hotel Kensington on Sat 28th Feb 2026 This hotel is absolutely exceptional in every respect. Their attention to detail is impeccable. The room was spotless to the point of looking new and unused. The room decor was stunning and the bathroom impeccable with an abundance of towels and accessories. The staff in this hotel are amazing. Friendly interested committed and happy in their work..They are all so genuine and welcoming. The hotel exudes ambience and history. The hotel walls and decor exude history and the whole hotel is like a time warp that encapsulates you and takes you back.into a time warp.to a time when hotels offered true ambience and quality.. If you do nothing else with your life, you must visit and stay at this amazing London Hotel. Be sure to dine in the amazing dining room and sample the wonderful fare. Our stay at the **Milestone Hotel** in Kensington was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly attentive and professional staff, who made us feel valued and genuinely cared for throughout our entire stay. The staff were always cheerful, upbeat, and welcoming, creating a warm and positive atmosphere every single day. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wonderful selection of fresh, high-quality options served with great attention to detail. It was the perfect start to each of our days. We were also very impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel. Both our room and the common areas were immaculate, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. Overall, the Milestone Hotel combines elegance, comfort, and outstanding hospitality at the highest level. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Kensington, and we very much look forward to returning in the future.

My husband and I stayed one night at the Milestone. The hotel is in an excellent location and we received impeccable service when we were there. Everyone was lovely. Breakfast was also fabulous. Unfortunately, however, the room was small, with a low ceiling and small window. It was also incredibly hot and stuffy (even when I reduced the temperature dial to 16c). My husband and I both felt incredibly claustrophobic to the point we thought we might have a panic attack and barely slept. I could see no way to open the window. This was despite the fact that we were not in the smallest room, we had booked a king room. Also the television did not work in the room (no signal!?!). We did not bother to ask for this to be rectified as we were only staying one night. There was also no tea or coffee facilities in the room. The bar in the hotel is incredibly claustrophobic. It is probably the smallest hotel bar I have ever seen and it has no windows. It feels like a cave. I think the hotel is very well run and the people working there are very accommodating but the rooms and bar were not for us so unfortunately we won’t be returning.
