Even before our four night stay we experienced the helpfulness of the staff. We had two very tightly packed suitcases and before we left our apartment in central London for three weeks in Ireland and Greece we bought an additional bag and asked if it could be stored at the hotel. They were so accomodating and didn’t charge anything for this service. The stay at the Milestone Hotel at the end of our five-week trip was relaxing and refreshing. We walked across the road to Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park often, caught a bus into the city for a pub tour and a show (Les Mis - don’t miss it!!), walked to nearby V&A and took a taxi to Lords - all so easy. Breakfast each day was excellent, room super clean and comfortable - thoroughly recommend if you want to splash out and stay somewhere really memorable.

We had our wedding at The Milestone Hotel at the end of April and the day was nothing short of perfection. The staff were incredible, the setting was classic and beautiful without being stuffy. The food was unbelievably good, all of our guests said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding and a few said it was the best they'd had ever! Emma was so so helpful in the lead up and made sure everything went smoothly on the day and made sure all of our guests were fully looked after at all times. We have a couple of disabled family members and the whole event was totally accessible for them too which was important to us. We genuinely couldn't have asked for a better day, thank you to all of the staff who made it happen.

Great location, very friendly, luxurious. Concierge found some picnic blankets we could borrow. Breakfast was yummy and staff were very attentive. Rooms were lovely and impeccable. If it’s in your price range, just book it!

We stayed at the fabulous Milestone Hotel in London, opposite Kensington Palace. The service and attention to detail of everyone from the manager to our own personal butler was a most truly unforgettable experience. Staff we had never met before even knew our names at all times. Very friendly and professional.

My husband and I have stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world. If there was a way to give The Milestone more than 5 stars - I would give them 15 stars. It is quite possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in London or anywhere else. Our room was large and beautiful, with amenities I have never seen anywhere else, like a silver case with printed cards with my name and all the hotel information to give out while I was staying at the Milestone. Every little thing that we might need was thought of. If you read the website - it sounds too good to be true, but it is even better than described.
The staff was perfect. We felt like honored members of a very exclusive club. I had filled out an email questionnaire and they got everything right. When we first walked into the bar, the barman said, "Good evening." He knew our names and then he reached for a bottle of my husband's favorite rum. We will never stay anywhere else in London.
