Reviews for The Milestone Hotel

Great location right across from Kensington Palace

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

This property is in a great location, right across the street from Kensington Park and castle, and just down the road a bit from Harrods, and some great museums. The hotel has a charming sitting room, and that is an option for breakfast. The dining room is beautiful. I loved the gorgeous windows. We enjoyed dinner there. Room types vary, but ours were both quite charming, though very different feels. Staff was excellent.

5 star hotel in every way

Our family stayed at the Milestone in April 2026 and it is 5 stars in every aspect. Not a detail went missed. It truly felt like home and we would come back in a heart beat. We came to Paris after staying at the Milestone and to be honest we wish we were back there. What a special hotel!!!

Oasis in Kensington

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We spent five wonderful nights at the Milestone in late-March/early February. The service is superlative -- everyone was authentically friendly and helpful. hotel was an oasis of comfort and elegance: always just the right temperature, everything in its place, the bed comfortable, the lounging furniture accommodating, the aesthetics soothing and nice. And the bathroom -- hot, hot water, wonderful bathroom products (including epsom salts for a bath), real glasses, abundant towels. Clean and quiet. The lobby and dining areas were so pleasant -- beautifully decorated with delicious food and drinks. And the location -- can't be better. Blocks from a Whole Foods, across the street from the Kensington Gardens, near two Tube stops... Restaurants, museums, Imperial College. It's all right on its doorstep. This was a perfect place for five restful, stimulating, lovely days in London. We were so sad to leave & so happy when we were there.

Fantastic service, amenities, and food!

This was absolutely one of the best experiences I have ever had with a hotel. Everyone from the doorman, to the concierge, to the dining staff were fantastic! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Shout out to Steve the doorman and Steve the concierge in particular, who were just wonderful. I will definitely plan to stay at this hotel the next time I visit London!

What a wonderful hotel. The location was great and the hotel and rooms are beautiful. We had two rooms for our family, both were decorated differently and were extremely cozy. The entire staff was amazing but Steve and Steven really went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. I never write reviews but this is a great place to stay when visiting London.

I traveled to London and stayed at The Milestone Hotel this summer. It was a wonderful experience. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The service was excellent along with the accommodations. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying again in the future!

We stayed at the fabulous Milestone Hotel in London, opposite Kensington Palace. The service and attention to detail of everyone from the manager to our own personal butler was a most truly unforgettable experience. Staff we had never met before even knew our names at all times. Very friendly and professional.

My husband and I have stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world. If there was a way to give The Milestone more than 5 stars - I would give them 15 stars. It is quite possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in London or anywhere else. Our room was large and beautiful, with amenities I have never seen anywhere else, like a silver case with printed cards with my name and all the hotel information to give out while I was staying at the Milestone. Every little thing that we might need was thought of. If you read the website - it sounds too good to be true, but it is even better than described.

The staff was perfect. We felt like honored members of a very exclusive club. I had filled out an email questionnaire and they got everything right. When we first walked into the bar, the barman said, "Good evening." He knew our names and then he reached for a bottle of my husband's favorite rum. We will never stay anywhere else in London.
