We had a wonderful stay at the Montague on the Gardens. Everything was perfect, apart from the weather, but even for that reception had umbrellas we could borrow! From arrival and being greeted by friendly welcoming staff, to departure after the best ever hotel breakfast we have had, the whole experience was perfect. Comfortable beds, lovely bar area, and breakfast room. Even has live jazz in the evening. We loved the location, walking distance to Covent Garden for theatre and Soho for an evening meal. We normally stay in Hiltons,Marriot,Novotel etc but after this visit will look at similar smaller hotels in future. We will definitely return to the Montague next time we are in London for a show.

The property was an excellent experience for our family. We engaged 3 rooms fort or family of 7. The hotel set up one of the suites with a third bed. All was prepared and ready on arrival. The hotel has excellent food and beverages, including the Terrace, Beach bar and Leopard Bar. There of our group were youngsters 10-12. They had special welcome amenities for them, as well as a scavenger hunt that earned them complimentary “ mock “tails! Staff was extremely helpful, professional without being stuffy, and always cheerful. A great location and a great stay!

I had such a lovely stay at the Montague on the Gardens this past week. The lobby, bar, and breakfast area were all cozy spaces to relax between meetings and meals. The reception staff were very kind and I always felt welcome coming and going, no matter how scattered I looked after long days trodding about London. My room was so cute and comfortable. It was small, but perfect. The rain showerhead was divine, the linens and pillows so fluffy, and the tea and water set up in the room put the whole thing over the top. It was nice to come home, change into my night clothes and have a pot of camomile and a big glass of water. I didn't always have time for a leisurely breakfast but I liked making coffee in my room in the French press-- it allowed me to get a cup in before I headed out for the day. I did have breakfast one day in the restaurant. It was very nice. I had toast with tasty jam and creamy butter, coffee, fresh fruit, yoghurt, muesli. I also had a drink in the Leopard Bar where I had one of the best Old Fashioneds I've ever had and some tasty popcorn as a snack. The staff were very nice and were around if I wanted more of something or just to check in on quality. All around, it was a very sweet balance of feeling welcome and looked after, while not being so stuffy it was intimidating or smothering. Thank you to everyone who made my stay so wonderful.

Incredible - I quite literally do not have the words to explain how brilliant our work summer party was at The Montague - Beach Bar. From the communications beforehand, collating information and just generally helping everything go super smoothly, through to the on-the-day team, venue and food being absolutely spectacular. Our team absolutely loved the pedibus experience and despite it being the hottest day of the year, everyone had the most wonderful time (thanks for the water haha!) Special mentions for Kleida, Piotr, Javinder, Christian and Daniel (bar manager?) - absolutely standout incredible staff who helped us have the best time ever! I cannot recommend them any more to anyone considering hosting an event with them - as the cool kids say "no notes". Brilliant.

My daughter and I just returned from a two-week stay at The Montague and it was a truly wonderful experience! The hotel itself is stunning, with beautifully-appointed rooms, a cozy, welcoming lobby, and comfortable spaces for breakfast, afternoon tea, and simply relaxing between activities. The best part by far, though, was the staff. To a person, they were professional, friendly, helpful, and exceedingly thoughtful. If you're like me, and you read a gazillion reviews of a hotel before deciding to make a reservation, my advice would be to stop right now and contact The Montague on the Gardens before all of the rooms are booked. You'll be very happy that you did!
