My husband and I spent a wonderful week here with my sister and her husband. We had done quite a lot of research before booking this hotel, and we arrived with high expectations. Now, I can honestly say that the Montague on the Gardens managed to exceed our expectations. The hotel is located in Bloomsbury, a quiet and elegant neighborhood, walking distance to many popular attractions such as Covent Garden and the West End. The hotel exudes luxury and old-world charm, which made our stay in London extra special. The hotel staff is outstanding, and every staff member deserves our praise. They always made us feel very welcome, and they provided very friendly and professional service throughout our stay. The full English breakfast, served in a beautiful dining room, didn't disappoint. The buffet offerings were plentiful and delicious. Even before the dining room opened for breakfast at 7:30 every morning, we took advantage of the coffee station in the beautiful and relaxing lounge. We plan to return to this hotel, and I highly recommend it to travelers who are looking for a boutique hotel with traditional English charm.

This was a great place to stay! Great location- across the street from the British Museum and close to Great restaurants. Easy to walk or take public transportation anywhere in London. The service was impeccable. The afternoon tea was quite a luxury experience.

We’ve stayed in London many times and this has by far been our favorite hotel. The location is fabulous being close to 2 tube stops, many good bus lines, and easily walkable to everywhere we wanted to go. The check-in experience around 13:00 was easy and our room was ready for us. The room was quaint, quiet, and comfortable. We were there a week and encountered many members of staff who were all great. The breakfast team were outstanding especially Lois, Sergio, Ida, and Aida. They were kind, great servers, and quick to help. The brekkie itself was good and I was happy to have a fresh omelette each morning along with the buffet. It was capped off by a delivery of chocolates on our last night. A perfect stay and highly recommend.
