The Montague on the Gardens

This hotel is amazing from the staff to the rooms and food. Perfect night sleep and was made to feel special with the additional extras of cake in the room etc. will be back next time a need this wonderful location.

What an absolute gem! The location could not be more convenient. It is steps from the British Museum but on a very quiet street. You can walk or take the underground to all the major sites. Delicious restaurants along Charlotte and Goode Street are all within a short walk. The staff is absolutely wonderful - warm and welcoming. Everyone from the front desk to the doormen to housekeeping was so helpful and kind. I was on crutches and they put us in room which had a handicap accessible bathroom. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The welcome biscuits were delicious as was the hot chocolate in the lobby. Definitely a keeper! Book your stay, you will not be disappointed.

Par excellence! The ambience is relaxed, and its decor, sumptuous. The staff from management through to hiysekeeping, is one that is genuinely friendly. Having previously stayed in The Ritz and The Savoy, I feel it fair to say any reader can rely on this review when I say I have experience of luxury accommodation, and all that comes with a stay in an excellent hotel. The Montague is up there with both, whilst being considerably cheaper. The location is good. The restaurant offers a varied menu and isn't expensive. An indulgent stay awaits you.

We stayed at this hotel for a week and had a really wonderful and relaxing time. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very attentive, thoughtful and treated us extremely well. There was plenty of food available for breakfast and everything was very tasty. I especially enjoyed getting the times delivered to our room each morning. The hotel is located in a great spot providing easy access to the British museum, a nice park and multiple bus lines. My wife was recovering from ankle surgery so the hotel accommodated us by providing a first floor, accessible room which we really appreciated. We also asked for an additional chair which was provided. We highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again in a future visit to London.

I loved Montague on the Gardens and will absolutely stay here again on my next trip to London. First, the staff were friendly and professional, and several of them learned my name after just a few days. Service was wonderful from the concierge who helped me navigate London, to the front desk staff, breakfast waitstaff who addressed me by name every morning, and even the bartender who made me a special hot chocolate after a cold evening. I rarely saw housekeeping, but my room was always well maintained so kudos to them too. Breakfast was delicious and filling enough that I usually only needed an early dinner and I was good for the day. My room was quiet and comfortable. The location was wonderful as well with easy access to many underground stations and walking distance to the British Museum. Overall, this is a top-quality hotel.
